Atomised is the new EP by Eyecandy - a new project
from Nick Powell (Strangelove, OSKAR), featuring mutli-instrumentalist Alex Lee (Goldfrapp, Florence and The Machine) and drummer Jason Cooper (The Cure). Other guests include Una Palliser (Richard Hawley, Shakira) on backing vocals, Lucy Wilkins (Pulp, Massive Attack) on violin and Charlotte Glasson (The Weave) on saxophone, with additional production care of Paul Corkett (Nick Cave, The Cure).
From Atomised’s krautrock-infused beats to the retro sci-fi musings of Silent Running, via Narrative’s Lynchian fairytale and Utopia’s haunting vision of lost sentinels on the Thames, this is music painted on a wide canvas with a vivid lyricism and tunes to match.

My dear friend Matthew Abbott made me this CD in 2003. It's what he was listening to as he lived and worked in New York City as an artist and gallery installer. Matthew would have been 55 today, September 19th. He checked out of this life last October. Still can't quite believe he's gone. Love to him and all those he loved and left behind - who also loved him... The graphic is a painting of his that he gave me and my wife Emily for our wedding in 1997.

2024 will see the release of the 'Atomised' EP by Eyecandy - a new project fronted by Nick Powell in collaboration with Alex Lee and Jason Cooper, with guest appearances from Una Palliser, Lucy Wilkins and Charlotte Glasson. 
'Walls Fall Down' will was the first solo album release from London-based musician, composer and sound designer Nick Powell, whose work has crossed boundaries between band releases, art projects and award winning film and theatre soundtracks. The album features numerous guest players including Alex Lee, Sarah Willson, Chin Keeler, Lucy Wilkins, Una Palliser, Rob Spriggs, and Calina De La Mar and will be released summer 2020. Taster tracks feature here along with examples of Nick's soundtrack work and tracks from the band OSKAR. Album track 'Out Of Key' features in Juan Cavestany's film 'Madrid, Int.'
