Simos Tagias' name is well connected with high quality electronic dance music since 2012, varying from Prog and Tech House up to Techno. Simos was born and raised in 1982 in the city of Serres, located at the North of Greece, getting experienced into House music and rhythms in the mid '90s. His passion growing for music has lead him into performing his very first mixes as a DJ on private and underground parties in first sight. 
His love for music expanded while working on his very first studio projects in the early '10s, quickly attracting the interests of labels like Change Audio, Modu and Lynx Rec in '12-'13, till nowadays with a great ammount of recent - top notch - releases on labels Proton, UV FSOE, Sudbeat, Meanwhile, Clubsonica , Beatfreak recordings and Movement Recordings, receiving great support from the likes of of artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Guy J, Sasha, Digweed and more..! Since the last year some important gigs have started in the local scene, with Simos sharing decks with important artists from around the world including Guy J, Moshic, Luis Junior, Scotty A, Navar, Estroe and more, on major events and venues in the north such as Movement events @ Block33 (Thessaloniki), as well as Bloque Festival (Kavala)..! Nowadays, Simos gets busy working on limited and well-focused studio projects, as well as gigs around the country with many surprizing news and projects to be seen and heard in the near future, so keep an eye on him!

Welcome to our exclusive weekly progcasts, where today we begin a 4 week tour of Argentina, another of our scenes hottest spots and home to many of our scenes biggest and best DJ's & artists. 

We begin with a well known figure of this scene, prolific in his output which is always top class... Haz ruido por Juan Ibañez!

Juan is a DJ, Producer and Remixer, born in La Rioja, Argentina who started his musical career in 2009. After experimenting with different styles of music for a while, in 2016 he started his career as a DJ.

Mixing styles such as Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House and Melodic Techno, Juan establishes a sound with a particularly progressive creative point. Behind the decks his energetic emotional melodies are accompanied by a magnificent groove that delivers a wonderful response from the crowds he plays to.

Juan is currently signed to our scene's more memorable labels, like The Soundgarden, Freegrant Music, Balkan Connection, Or Two Strangers, OneDotsixtwo, Clubsonica, and Droid9, among others.

His music travels the world, receiving support from top-level artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Miss Monique, D-Nox, DJ Ruby, Sebastien Léger, Nick Varon among others; This recognition also leads him to play at international events such as Virtual Burning Man 2020 & 21, and big stages in different countries such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Islamabad, and Mexico.

Dedication, commitment, passion . Those elements have been following Nick since he started his journey into the world of electronic music about 15 years ago. 
	Throughout his residency at the iconic club Venue in his hometown Athens, it was Nick’s combination of professionalism & genuine passion to the underground house movement, which enabled him to make his mark as a warm up dj for some of the biggest names in dance music. Regardless he found himself sharing decks with his idols in a fairly young age, he managed to contain his enthusiasm and deliver the dance-floor ready for the main guest to take over. 
	The quality of his selection skills got the attention from some of the heavy weights of the scene like Nick Warren; who named Nick Varon "the most underrated DJ in the world”, in DjMag’s Top 100. But it was Hernán Cattaneo who was mostly captivated by his well compiled forward thinking sets. The South American legend initially invited Nick on his Greek Tours and long behold a partnership of music & talent - that still flourishes today - was created. Their collaboration has taken off with huge success in 3 continents (Europe / America / Asia). Up to now, the duo has accomplished 60 shows together, a number that barely represents the growing musical partnership but mostly a great friendship. 
	His international career keeps growing with shows from Bali to Amsterdam & from New York to Tokyo, while he has been also giving remarkable production signs. 
As a frequent now at the Sudbeat imprint and with an increasing amount of releases, builds an equally promising future on the production side as well. 
	Always loyal to the melodic - atmospheric elements - but with a continuous modernisation along with his ability to blend endless styles of underground house music has created his own signature sound. A unique style, which got him playing with two generations Legends; such as Sasha, John Digweed, Sven Vath, Dubfire, Solomun ... and thats truly a shortlist. 
	With shows in some of the most iconic venues around the world such as Crobar & Pacha in New York City, Mansion in Miami, legendary festivals such as Creamfields in Buenos Aires or the BPM and with a constant presence in Off Sonar events - in his current base in Barcelona - or in ADE, he continues to deliver well structured intriguing sets making his worldwide fan base wider and even more faithful.
