This is part 3 of a series of 3 Various Artists Compilations (I, II and III) to close the Invisible catalogue.

Thursday May 30th, Ascension Day, we confirmed that Invisible will stop releasing music. The drum & bass label was launched in 2010 as the experimental and new-talent-championing leg of our original flagship imprint Vision and multiple genre label Division.

All good things must come to an end, though. We will release three Invisible compilations with the name ‘INVISIBLE Definition’ to close the catalogue over the coming months and this is the third one. And while it seems like the end of an era, it’s actually the start of a new one. Nik and Thijs explain in an interview with UKF:

I've been starting my sets with Crustacean since version 0.2 (and I still do) and it's working like a charm. Later I removed the info in rekordbox, as too many people were checking the ID, haha. It took a while to find the perfect flow as there are so many different sounds. But when I got it, it's been one of my favorites.

With one foot set in the future and another amongst neurofunk DNB's architects, Nick's trademark sound is not easily classified.
