Większość członków Main Street powinna być dobrze znana w ostrołęckich kręgach muzycznych. Roberta, Tomka i Krzyśka można było zobaczyć m.in. na koncertach Linii Życia. Nasz wokalista śpiewał w innym lokalnym zespole The Fakto.

Niektórzy z członków grupy otarli się o znane polskie festiwale. Robert, grając w Iliczu, może pochwalić się m.in. debiutem na festiwalu w Opolu, w 1988 roku. W tym okresie, ich kapelą opiekował się lider Republiki Grzegorz Ciechowski.

Tworzoną przez nas muzykę śmiało można zaliczyć do szeroko pojętego rocka. Nasze kompozycje są wypadkową naszych muzycznych upodobań – od bluesa po hard rocka.

Czerpiemy garściami od najlepszych jak: Pink Floyd, Marillion, Yes, The Doors, czy Eric Clapton. Nie staramy się jednak ślepo naśladować tych wykonawców. Szukamy swojego stylu i brzmienia.

Zaryzykowaliśmy, stawiając na nasze autorskie utwory. Covery to niewielka część repertuaru zespołu. Mamy jednak nadzieję, że autorskie dzieła chociaż zbliżą się poziomem do klasycznych rockowych kawałków.


Most of members Main Street should be good known in the Ostrołęka's music spheres. Robert, Tomek and Krzysiek could have been seen e.g. in Linia Życia's gigs. Our vocalist sang in other local band - The Fakto.

Some of our members played on well known polish festivals. Robert, who was playing in Ilicz, can say about his debut in Opole Festival, in 1988. This time Grzegorz Ciechowski from Republika took care of the band.

Music which we're creating can belong to broad understood rock. Compositions depend of our music tastes - from blues to hard rock.

A lot of this inspiration comes from the bests like: Pink Floyd, Marillion, Yes, The Doors, czy Eric Clapton. We don't blindly copy these performers. We're looking for own style and sound.

We took a risk when we stood up on our authorial work. Covers are a little piece of our music. We hope that authorial songs someday will be close, even a little, to classic rock legends.
