The Glimmering Shore

They married in haste on a bright winter’s day 
Knowing the next tide would sail him away 
But he pledged his return come the warmth of the May
 And to wait for him there on the glimmering shore

High masted whaler, fading from view 
Beyond her horizon of shimmering blue 
Steeling her heart, through tearful adieu 
Set to wait for her love by that glimmering shore

May’s softness as swallows came dancing on air 
July blessed her life with his daughter so fair 
Then autumn winds rising, whispering despair 
While she waits for her love on that glimmering shore

Darklings of winter, snow blankets the sand.
 Earth forged to ice, life stripped from the land. 
Daily returning, the horizon to scan 
To wait for her love on that glimmering shore

Weeks swelled to months that folded to years
 Hope’s light expiring, extinguished by fears 
And the salty sea roared and it crashed like her tears
As she waits for her love on that glimmering shore

Like a ship gripped by tempest ne’er to break free
 Her heart imprisoned on a turbulent sea. 
No lighthouse of guidance to lead her to lee. 
She'd wait for her love on that glimmering shore

The Glimmering Shore (feat. Philleann)

This is a collection of piano pieces based off mostly of improvisational ideas I made back in 2019-2020.  These pieces now I re-recorded with a better sound quality and released as an album.  I feel a close connection to nature, so natural happenings can have a great emotional impact on me. These pieces capture mostly the feeling arose from this source as the titles also suggest. I chose this collection to have my orchestral piece "After the rain comes the sun" as a title, and intro song.

I recently uploaded a YMO cover "Camouflage" on Youtube and uploaded it to Soundcloud  with vocals by Chis-A of VoiSona (AI voice synthesis software) . The performance data was slightly modified and the tone was completely replaced.

The vocal has a delay and is in a "my voice is following me w" state. the Youtube version is wet all over, so I made this one dry.

最近YoutubeにアップしたYMOのカバー「Camouflage」にVoiSonaの知声さんのボーカル入れてサンクラにアップしてみました。演奏データは少し手を入れ、音色は全面的に差し替えました。

ボーカルにディレーがかかり、「自分の声が自分を追いかけているw」状態になっています。Youtubeの方は全体にベシャッとしていたので、こちらは乾いた感じにしました。
