Following hot on the heels of his recent "The Lurker" EP and remix of Sed Project's "Some Will Figure" in the early part of 2013, the Nick Hogendoorn name has been a byword for success since his first work for Toes In The Sand in 2004. An acute musical ear and many hours spent fine-tuning his production skills have thus seen Hogendoorn feature on a plethora of high-calibre labels including Armada, Global Underground and collaborative works with Eelke Kleijn on his Outside The Box imprint. With recent work also signed to the impressive Silk Textures, Nick Hogendoorn's production talents show no signs of letting up.

Turning his attention to "Siebte", Hogendoorn provides a delightfully innovative approach to Mode B's original. Bouncing, spiky rhythms mark a platform for harmonic vocal cuts to layer beautifully over a percussive hi-hat cadence before glimpses of original melodic motifs weave their way into the musical fabric. Before long the entire distorted refrain makes its way to the fore in the track's final movement before the rhythmic melange returns with impressive force.

Mode B - Siebte (Nick Hogendoorn Remix)

Darkpload Deep proudly presents 'Thoughts Became Things' by Andromedha. After his first huge release one the deep imprint, he comes with something tottaly new. The original track, produced in a dark progressive style, is based on strong basslines, mechanical percussion and deep pads. As always to make the single more universal there are three other interpretations alongside the original. And the first one created by Polish duo Darkployers, Darkpload Records founders, impresses with its dense groove, creepy atmoshperic pads and a calm breakdown with sweet melody. Classic progressive remix is the work of the mighty American producer Jeremy Rowlett. This track with oriental motive is full of the percussion and beautiful synths. Last one is by well known Tuxedo which showcases his deep house vision of 'Thoughts Became Things' release. Powerful, rhythmic groove with hypnotic vocals, lush pads and absolutely stunning atmosphere.

After releases on John Osbourne’s label Tanstaafl BILL YOUNGMAN once again rips it off for Killekill with our catalogue number 019.

From straight forward, hard hitting techno as in “LEVITATE” he crosses over to the typical Youngman style 2-step/techno hybrid as in “MAGNETIC”. Broken beats and playful melodies as in “TEARDROP TURNS TO SOLID” are definitely not new to him, but the combination of these two elements, as we find it here, definitely is. A beautiful masterpiece that works for the lonely hours as well as for the peaktime dancefloors.

Phon.o's latest EP Cracking Space Pt. 2 continues on from the excellent work he recently carried out on Cracking Space Pt. 1. Like its predecessor this EP is a thrilling venture into the nexus between Burial-esque night bus appropriate garage, and heavy Berlin Techno. 'Whi5tleblower' is a propulsive opener underpinned by a ferocious garage beat that occasionally recedes into dub-y dread inducing atmospherics, before inevitably getting even heavier and more intense. 'Defrost' is a particularly massive and sophisticated floor filler that features a tense emotional edge, while 'Crystal Math' is a shimmering and hazy atmospheric palate-cleanser.
