NICK NORTON-SMITH is an established composer/multi instrumentalist with a multifaceted career in film, TV and the performing arts. His work ranges from iconic TV themes, factual and entertainment shows to RTS, BAFTA and Academy Award nominated films. 

ACCUSED : THE FAKE GROOMING SCANDAL documentary series Channel 4/Expectation TV. 
MY DEAD BODY Channel 4/ 141 Productions RTS, BAFTA nominated "the most moving television of the year" Daily Telegraph. 
NAPOLEON BBC 2 documentary series.

Nick studied composition with Amit Sen (Head of Jazz Arranging and Composition Royal Academy of Music) and began his career as saxophone/woodwind player studying at Guildhall School of Music London along with Bob Reynolds (Snarky Puppy) Jean Toussaint ( Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers) and classical flute with Ian Clarke Professor of flute, Guildhall School of Music, London. 

Drawing experience from a performing career spanning 16 West End shows & international tours with numerous artists including Frank Sinatra, Cynthia Erivo, Acid jazz legends The Brand New Heavies, The Proclaimers and many more. Winner BEST MUSICIAN Edinburgh International Jazz Festival. 

Nick is a BAFTA and IVORS ACADEMY member & London resident.
