Crafted by three experts in their field, ‘I AM’ is set to be a future anthem with its unforgettable melody. Having headlined the first ever Sunburn Festival in Goa when it began back in 2007, Axwell will be making a much-anticipated return this year on December 29th to headline the 35,000 event. Axwell last visited India earlier this year as one third of Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour. To finish off the year in style, he’ll then go to Dubai to headline Sandance at the Atlantis Hotel on December 31st.

He brings this perfect blend of pop/mainstream sensibility and indie but strikes a great balance with his really unique voice and styling which is something we care a lot about... When we started producing the song we gravitated towards the more progressive sound, flush with big synths but wanted to pair it with a sweeping horn over the drop to give it this really grand almost orchestra feeling that gave it a unique feeling, almost cinematic in nature.... which allowed us to cater to the high energy of house but maintain a unique undertone which we put a lot of importance on with our productions ”

At the end of 2013, I was hanging out w/ my close friends Gordon and Erick of BOTNEK﻿ in Montreal while they were making their infamous remix of "Animals" 

We spoke of our mutual frustration w/ the current trend of "Big Room" house music: how it's always effective live, yet almost always completely musically unoriginal. SO.

We teamed up to combine my chords & build w/ a botnek signature chaotic drop, what started at first as a bit of a joke, eventually gave birth to "Vikings"
