Like the short lyrics' meaning "love has no hurry", music makes contrasts on rhythms and textures even inside each part: Main theme starts with fast drums on slow melodies & has a DANCEABLE? 2nd part with lead bass guitar; Central theme makes fast tracks become slow to the left channel and vice-versa, progressing to a POST-ROCK? atmosphere. Meanwhile, two lead guitars and echoing voices complete the contrasting piece. I hope to get your feedback !!!

Olores y Colores

Painting a vivid picture in music.
In this track I explore the link between the flamenco style or palo of Tangos and the more Argeninian Tango. Although being linked in name they are very different. A Tango flamenco is more closely linked to the rumba flamenca. Its rhythm is the same as farruca and very lively. The Argentine tango shares a common ancestor, but went its own way. However, it was fun developing the transition between styles. I do that by a dramatic interruption in a Solea por Buleria. It repeats three times with the outro slightly different from the intro and interlude. 
I play three guitar parts here, one in flamenco finger picking style, the others more like the guitar trio with an alternate picking style.

I always like to try and support local talent from my home town whenever I can, so I would like to introduce Sam Lee. Sam has fantastic vocal tone and pitch and puts great emotion into her performances.
 There are quite a few versions and remixes of this song by the original and other artists  here on soundcloud but as far as i know not an orchestrated version (I may be wrong)..... 1922. South Gloucestershire. Secured digs with a jolly old fusspot, Mrs. Luggard, round and rosy, wheezy and flustering, in her rather grand country lodge. I'd told her a wheelbarrowful of fiblets; writer of detective stories, shunning the public eye for a spell, on the lookout for inspiration for the hero's love interest, dashed publisher misspelled my name on the cheque,  blah! Blah!
I'd developed a mild toothache and chose to take tea in the Orangery. As I lay in my favourite recliner, sun glowing warmly through the ribbed roof, I could hear Garforth the ostler wailing pitifully as his wife rubbed horse liniment on his nethers. He'd absorbed a rather sharp kick which made all but a nightgown intolerable. Gudrun, the square-set, hippo-jawed spinster was sawing away on her violin in the study. Most peculiar style of playing. .the fiddle was jammed under her left dug and the bow held in her fist like a handlebar. Godawful whining racket.
The housemaid whispered in, skirts shuffling as gently as mouseblinks. Poured tea noiselessly and laid out sandwiches and mignardises. I held my jaw, feigning a wince. She made a pitying frown and returned moments later with a plateful of daintily arranged, half-chewed pellets of cucumber, bread and cake, sucking her teeth discreetly. She took a plug of medicated tobacco, refilled my pipe, then brought my Armagnac.  A few more weeks before the fiblets were exposed and I had to make an orchid-pummelling exit, bareback on the Shire.

This track came from the beginnings of a live set I was working on, when the gig fell through , I thought I would make the set into a track, I was thinking of playing for over an hour so this is a condensed version really  .
I used an Octatrack and Digitack by Elektron and sampled my synths , voice and guitar.
