I was with my parents, kids and wife. We were in the car all driving somewhere. A story came up randomly, because we were all arguing about driving with your emergency lights on during a storm. My mom said she was pulled over one time with her emergency lights on out in some rural roads. We asked if it was during a storm, she said no she was out following my dad in the dark so he could see. He was training to be a highway patrol officer at the time, and knowing my dad he worked his ass off to make that dream come true. This was before I was even born, but I had never heard that story. Just hearing it, made me realize how much my parents loved each other, the sacrifices they made for each other, it was just a beautiful moment. So, being me, I wrote a song about it of course. Hope you enjoy!
