Stunning debut from Holland's finest Jaap Ligthart with "Adventures In Aberdeen' which also sees a debut on remix duties from Pedro Mercado &  Karada and after many years a welcome return of progressive heavyweight Lonya.

Jaap's original mix is a fantastic combo of percussive deep grooves, intense chord progressions and gentle, warm synth lines that play along well and create an almost Balearic feel to the whole track.

Lonya turns out another monster remix with his trademark fusion of progressive and melodic techno. Punchy beats and crisp percussive elements roll along with ease along with the deep and pulsating bassline as the hypnotic synths build up and create a unique vibe along with the cleverly used elements from the original track.

The last but not least rework comes from Pedro Mercado & Karada and it is a belter! A potent, evolving bassline drives it all along with the spaced out pads and deep beats while tripped out effects keep building up the vibe through the whole track.

Fall into an introspective season filled with pensive moods, reflective thoughts, and nonchalant reverie with our second remixed album. We are delighted to present seven fabulous remixed tracks by an all-star ensemble, which includes label veterans, returnees and introduces Anlaya Project and Skyline Drive to our imprint.

Greek producer, Fiben, is making a name for himself in the melodic progressive scene with his sensual grooves, aperitive chords, breakbeats, and overall affinity with melodic motifs. “Lime Island” balances percussive and melodic elements that leave listeners in a hypnotic dream.

The sun-a-thon continues with progressive sensation Druce’s reimagining of Z8phyR’s “Cithara”. Be whisked away into the sun-drenched skies, in which retrovibes and ethereal arpeggiated chords melt into the Miami sunset.

Cast the line, bait, and hook. To be drawn into the melodic mysticism of Mark & Lukas’ sensational remix of James Kerwin’s "Burgeoning" is intrinsically inevitable. Deep currents of arpeggiated chords, atmospheric arps, and melodic textures emphasize the duo’s attention to melodic detail.

As if Skyline Project’s original “Espalmador” wasn’t enough, Skua rejuvenates the kindred spirit with a euphoric audible incantation of his own. Relaxing tonation, a bongo-like percussive breakdown, and strong melodic motifs forge a beach-centric therapeutic delight.

Ciree reinvents MLDJ’s “Forgotten Photo” with ebullient chord progressions and enthusiastic basslines that take the listener through a spiraling conviviality of good-natured feelings and balearic emotions. Any one familiar with Pedro & Benno will definitely appreciate this track.

Anlaya Project debuts with a pulsating retelling of Melchi’s “Gada Meilin”. Resonating basslines, and uplifting chord and piano progressions characterize the story of the epic Mongolian hero in the Asian desert landscape against a setting sun

Skyline Drive debuts with a soothing rendition of Robert Dalshetch’s “Por La Orilla”. Balearic arps, atmospheric pads, and a relaxing overtone close out this remixed edition with reflective tranquility.

Originally released on Dragonfly Records in 2005, Tripswitch's debut album Circuit Breaker landed to widespread critical acclaim and became recognised as one of the landmark releases of the psy-chill genre, establishing Nick as one of the godfathers of the scene. Tracks from the album were picked up for numerous compilation licenses by the likes of Nick Warren, Jose Padilla and Claude Challe, and continue to be licensed for compilations, TV and film - most recently "Roll Your Own" has been included in the soundtrack to the Bollywood movie "The Blueberry Hunt". 

The first release quickly sold out and 2 years later, by which time copies were changing hands on ebay for as much as $150, Dragonfly re-released it as a double CD package including a completely reworked edition with versions of each track from a clutch of the world's top electronic producers. 

Both original releases were dogged by digital distribution issues and were therefore never available for download in many parts of the world. Section Records inherited and sold off the remaining CD stock in 2010,  and in 2012 re-issued the original 2005 Circuit Breaker album as part of our own digital catalogue. Now in 2013, we're delighted to be able to add Circuit Breaker Rewired to that collection, completing the Tripswitch discography and finally making it available worldwide.
