Christopher Ray Hunnicutt is a bassist, singer/songwriter, guitarist, ukulelist, drummer/percussionist and pianist, based out of Wisconsin with a depth of experience in performance, studio recording, teaching & music business/marketing.

​Beginning to flourish as a bassist at the early age of 15, and a decade of vocal performance experience, he began to perform live with bands of all varities & age ranges, as a part of local & national touring acts. A few years later, after great deliberation, he accepted the invitation to Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he would eagerly chase his Bachelor of the Arts in Electric Bass Performance ('07) under the careful guidance of Paul Ousley, Anthony Cox & Terry Burns. During his tenure at Augsburg, Christopher was exposed to many different aspects of study, such as comprehensive courses in music theory training, jazz/classical music studies, jazz/classical composition, music history, and many trades of music business. In addition to this, he was also a long-standing member of the Augsburg College Jazz/Gospel Praise Band & Augsburg Choir, and served as a private music theory tutor to many of his peers. As the primary motivator behind the revitalization of jazz improvisation  & electric bass programs that are still currently in use at Augsburg University today, he's always shown a deep pursuance toward the advancement, embodiment, endowment & continued curation of the arts. After his departure from school, he began heavily hitting the infamous Minneapolis Funk/R&B/Jazz scene for over 13 years, and tried to help develop & enrich the beautiful tapestry that is Minneapolis music.

 Christopher's diversity as a musician is a testament to his appearances throughout parts of the United States, with his musical roots being found in funk, soul, rhythm & blues, jazz fusion, rock, reggae & hip-hop, one might be surprised that he has also been a vital part of country, blues, metal, punk & progressive rock conglomerates as a bassist, guitarist, vocalist & pianist. NY-based, eclectic pop/rock songstress/music producer, TRISTN, releases her track, “Sky Wide Open,” from her upcoming album, January, due out September 15, 2017. The track was produced by Steve Kupillas (Oak and Ash, Brand New), and TRISTN. “Sky Wide Open” came together in a mere 22 hours. This song was originally written as a reminder for a friend — to look up every once in a while, and realize that there is an open sky everyday.  January represents a new beginning: “Everyone gets a new one every year.”

After experimenting with band dynamics for a few years and jet-setting to and from Los Angeles, TRISTN returned to New York in 2016 to focus on performing and writing as a solo artist. Her musical influences range from Yellowcard, Coldplay to Skylar Gray. TRISTN’s first demo, “Remember Me,” successfully caught the attention of producer Kupillas who, along with Carbone, have worked closely with TRISTN on developing her universally appealing sound. Every song on January narrates true events in TRISTN’s life.  

Her first single “Nothing to Say (Nothin’)”,produced by Kupillas and TRISTN, and co-produced by Nick Carbone (drummer for Interscope / BadBoy artist French Montana) is a witty song and conversational piece about gossip, exposing those who talk about others but are too afraid to speak face to face.  During the production of this song, TRISTN brought Carbone on as co-producer, giving the song a distinct character (including the sampled chicken sounds). It was mastered by Ted Jensen (Norah Jones, Muse, Green Day)  and showcases this emerging writer’s natural knack infectious hooks.

Cory Crush (a.k.a. Cory Groshek and Low Carb Cory) is a rapper/hip-hop music producer, originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who now resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Since 2001, he has recorded over 80 songs (over the course of five albums and two EPs), collaborated with countless other Wisconsin-based hip-hop artists (including Undecent, Saige Kennedy, K-Way, Kloqwyse, Spaceman, Shottie, Silence, M.C. A.K., Hurrikane, Duce Duce Entertainment, Young Bones, Seth P, The Rusty P's, etc.), and performed live all over the state (including at venues as far north as Wausau, as far east as Green Bay, as far west as Eau Claire, as far south as Milwaukee).
