Handpicked by curators James Grant & Jody Wisternoff, Anjunadeep 14 - The Selection hosts 6 highlights from the label’s annual compilation, featuring PROFF, Igor Garanin, Legato, Duke Boara, Nōpi and exclusive James and Jody remixes of Natascha Polké and LAR.

Kicking off the EP is a remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Surge’ from Russian producers PROFF and Igor Garanin. First debuted during Above & Beyond’s ABGT500 Deep Set, PROFF and Igor Garanin add an organic house spin to the original, leading with an array of percussion and intricate countermelodies.

James Grant and Jody Wisternoff collaborate with British producer LEGATO on ‘Petals’. With releases on All Day I Dream, Eton Messy, When We Dip and Nightcolours, LEGATO demonstrates his distinctive style in his latest collaboration.

Duke Boara returns to Anjunadeep with ‘Woodwick Close’. Having first debuted on Anjunadeep 12, Duke Boara has since gone on to release his debut album ‘11am’ which has gained over 8 million streams and support on BBC Radio 1.

Anjunadeep welcomes Natascha Polké back to the label with a James Grant & Jody Wisternoff edit of ‘Loose Lips’. Natascha debuted on the label in 2022 with ‘Cranes’, a collaboration with Nils Hoffmann, and has had further releases on This Never Happened, Hive Music and Definition:Music. Leading with Natascha’s enchanting vocals, James and Jody stamp their mark with signature percussive-led rhythms and warm chords.

‘Freefly’ is the second collaborative cut on the EP, with Ukrainian producer Nōpi, Jody Wisternoff & James Grant. Nōpi first debuted on Anjunadeep in 2020 and has since gone on to release his outstanding four-track EP ‘Gray Cloud’ on the label.

Rounding off the EP is a Jody Wisternoff & James Grant remix of LAR ‘Collide’. Hailing from the UK, LAR debuted in 2021 with his release on Monstercat Silk and has since gone on to release on Colorize, Eton Messy and Zerothree.

‘Miroir Miroir’ feat. Everyone You Know, the third single from CRi’s second artist album ‘Miracles’, gets reworked by Romain Garcia and Qrion.

Released in September 2023, CRi’s album sparked a 17-stop tour across North America, commencing in Montréal, where CRi mesmerised his hometown at iconic venue MTelus. Throughout the album campaign, CRi has received an impressive array of support both internationally on DSPs and in his home country of Canada, appearing on multiple billboards in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square, and having his full performance from Danforth Music Hall filmed in full, and broadcast by CBC, the national TV broadcaster.

Now, CRi’s ‘Miroir Miroir’ receives two new reworks. The first, from French DJ, producer, and live performer Romain Garcia injects a breath of melodic freshness into the track; skillfully blending new synth lines with pulsating club grooves. While relatively new to Anjunadeep, Romain has already begun to garner loyal supporters from the label fanbase through his energetic live performances around the world.

Qrion, praised by Mixmag, DJ Mag, Forbes, and Billboard for her debut album ‘I Hope It Lasts Forever,’ and beloved by industry tastemakers including Porter Robinson and Romy, returns to Anjunadeep with a lush rework of ‘Miroir Miroir.’

This new update on the single seamlessly integrates a syncopated synth line with deep bass, all while preserving the essence of the original vocals.This pair of reworks anticipates an exciting 2024 for Romain Garcia and Qrion, both of whom are set to unveil new music and make exciting appearances across the Anjunadeep schedule of releases and events.

One of most highly anticipated IDs from Nora En Pure’s recent sets around the planet, Lexer’s
‘Closemouthed’ sees the light of day on Purified Records. Combining playful vocals with an 
uplifting arrangement, this summer-tinged creation takes listeners on an energetic ride and 
marks Lexer’s label debut.
The ‘Closedmouthed’ artwork displays a shot of corals on the ocean floor, captured by Daniel 
Nicholson. Coral reefs are among the most biologically diverse ecosystems on Earth, 
providing habitats for approximately 25% of all marine species despite covering less than 1% 
of the ocean floor. They play a vital role in carbon cycling, as they absorb and store carbon 
dioxide from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate climate change. Despite their appearance of 
sturdiness, coral reefs are fragile structures built by tiny polyps over centuries. They are highly 
sensitive to changes in water temperature, acidity, and pollution, making them vulnerable to 
environmental stressors.
Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s 
most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and 
magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

Born in the South of the Netherlands and raised in Belgium, Nicky Elisabeth is a DJ and producer. Her love for music started with singing when she was sixteen and developed into a passion for DJing by eighteen. Residing in Amsterdam, Nicky had the epicenter of electronic music at her doorstep and was fully immersed into the techno scene. It wasn't long before she began producing records and developed her own unique sound.

Nicky has played at leading festivals throughout the globe. Anyone who has experienced one of her sets there will find much of the special atmosphere and punchy sound of those nights in Nicky's recent releases on Anjunadeep.
