The Moon projects only a portion of its shadow on the Sun. While the densest shadow of the Moon, the umbra, does not reach the Earth, only the partial shadow, the penumbra, is projected onto the Earth. During this event, a gust of wind approaches, hiding within it a mysterious and palpable energy. This natural phenomenon serves as the inspiration to launch the first chapter of the Thama Series titled "Eclipse of Existence."

Eight tracks of deep and energetic techno, divided into two episodes, woven by talented artists. A sonic journey, a dance of rhythms.

Blach: Journey and Evolution in the Electronic Music Scene

Blach, hailing from a home where music was a constant presence, began his musical journey influenced by the vibrant and diverse environment cultivated by his older siblings. His passion for electronic music deepened while listening to tapes of Modern Talking, The Prodigy, and Technotronic, among others. This innate interest led him to discover techno at a local party, where he was captivated by the DJ’s precision and energy, marking a turning point in his life.

Starting his career in 2000, Blach immersed himself in techno, influenced by the raw sound of labels like Blueprint and Tresor. During what he considers the "golden age of techno," he drew inspiration from icons like James Ruskin, Oscar Mulero, and Jeff Mills, who cemented his perspective and musical style.

Throughout his career, he has observed a positive evolution in the scene, with a growing demand for authentic experiences in clubs and festivals that prioritize musical quality. Blach remains attentive to labels and artists that embody genuine commitment, such as Token and Setaoc Mass.

As a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, he actively performs in Galicia, where the current state of electronic music continues to evolve and influence the regional scene.

Known for his intuitive approach during sets, Blach selects tracks that fit the event and moment, allowing spontaneity to guide his performance. He is currently developing a new live project under the name Antoxo, exploring new ways to connect with his audience, and working on the third release of Purveyance.

He continues to be an influential figure in the techno scene, always carrying in his repertoire renowned producers like Oscar Mulero, Orbe, and Kr!z. The renewed energy in techno and his unwavering commitment to authenticity ensure that Blach remains a reference in today’s electronic music.

There’s something truly special about playing a warm-up. At first you get that rush, knowing you’ll dig out tracks that wouldn’t normally fit in your other sets. You get the freedom to build different atmospheres, to surprise yourself… and at the same time, the responsibility of opening the night and welcoming those who step into the club for the very first time.

When that door happens to be Apolo’s, the feeling is amplified. It’s not only the privilege of sharing music, but also of receiving people as if they were walking into my own home. And you know how it is: when you feel at home, you enjoy it your own way.

That balance between respect and freedom is what makes me value the chance of playing this warm-up so much. Being able to welcome everyone in a space that feels so familiar, with my music and my vision of the night, is an honor and a huge pleasure.

Step in, get comfortable, and enjoy it like you are at home.

For this session I reached for many classics from my own catalogue: they don’t need to be widely known, but for me as a DJ and music lover they carry a deep meaning, and I wanted to share that in the moment.
