Candice is classically trained vocalist who performs music within the jazz and adult contemporary genres. She has lent her beautiful voice to local productions such Les Misérables, the opera Carmen, in the title role, the role of Clara in Porgy and Bess and as Mary Magdelene in Jesus Christ Superstar. She won the Caribbean Sunshine Award for Best New Female Vocalist in 2002 and has been a recipient of the Ffrench Trophy for the Most Promising Performer in the prestigious Trinidad and Tobago Music Festival. In 2005 she recorded the self-titled album ‘Candice’, which included compositions by the artiste herself. She has had the great opportunity to perform in different countries within the region for jazz and music festivals.
