I’m Chris Childers, but most people know me as childerbeast and my stage name Silent Jerry—a name that started as a joke, then experiment, and stands for the grit, pain, and raw energy that fuels my music. I wasn’t born into an easy life. I’ve seen the worst the world has to offer, but I’ve taken every punch and turned it into fuel for my fire.

Growing up in a broken home, surrounded by drugs,betrayal, a abusive stepfather, alcoholic moliving in pine hills Orlando (google search that area),I had two choices: let the world destroy me or fight like hell to survive. Music became my weapon. At 10 years old, I wrote my first song, locked in my room, freshly beaten by step dad I remember pouring out the pain I couldn’t say out loud.
After years of battling the courts and DCF, my dad finally proved his innocence and fought to get me and my sister back. He didn’t have much, but he gave me everything he could, including my first guitar at 14. He believed in me when no one else did. That guitar became my lifeline, and his faith in me sparked something I’ve carried ever since.

But life didn’t let up. I fell into addiction, made bad decisions, and spent five years behind bars. I hit rock bottom more times than I can count, but even in the darkest places, music was there, pulling me back. At work release, I picked up a guitar again and started writing. That’s when it hit me: this isn’t just what I love—it’s who I am.

I’m not here to make polished, sugar-coated songs. My music is raw, real, and unapologetic because it’s my story. I’ve taken pieces from every genre that’s spoken to me. My music reflects the battles I’ve fought, the scars I wear, and the fire that keeps me moving forward.

This isn’t just a dream—it’s my mission. I’m here to prove that no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can rise again. I’m here for anyone who’s ever been written off, underestimated, or told they’d never make it.
Music saved my life, and now I’m putting everything on the line to make sure my voice is heard. Love it or hate it, I’m not stopping until I’ve left my mark.
