Maddy O'Neal's music embodies a rich tapestry of genres, seamlessly blending elements from across the spectrum. Her sound, characterized by lush textures and atmospheric layers, draws heavily from her roots in funk and soul. These influences meld with deep bass frequencies and innovative synth designs, creating a unique sonic space within the electro-soul and bass music communities. Based in Denver, Colorado, Maddy has carved out her distinct niche, infusing her productions with a signature blend of soulful melodies, driving basslines, and glitchy hip-hop rhythms.


As a self-taught producer and DJ with a creatively charged background, Maddy's live performances are dynamic and immersive. She crafts a narrative journey through her sets, mixing original compositions with drum pad sequences and diverse tracks ranging from gritty, low-end bangers to shimmering, mid-tempo vocal bass and head-nodding disco beats. Her relentless touring schedule, boasting numerous shows annually for the past five years, Maddy showcases her unstoppable momentum and ability to energize audiences nationwide.

Music is a gift that has filled my life with immense joy and incredible experiences.  My musical taste covers a wide range of sounds that continues to expand as music evolves over time.

MAZĀL (formerly known as Christian Dope) has been steadily rocking East Coast parties and burner events since 2010, bringing fresh flavor through eclectic DJ sets blending Footwork, Baltimore & Jersey club, Afrobeat, Baile Funk, Juke, Dancehall, Booty Breaks, and whatever other groovy stuff he gets his hands on. A combination of the latest popular sounds with unique tunes dug from the deep is what brands his sets to be consistently expansive and always worthy of shakin' it. Few things are better than providing an opportunity for everyone to put aside their everyday concerns and get down in unity to great music, and facilitating this party-time nirvana is MAZĀL's MO.

From an early age I found it difficult to communicate with the world around me through traditional language within the social norms, whether it be spoken or written. I often felt I had so much to say, but no way to say it; no ability to translate the most intense, passionate emotions and human experiences. The more I connected with music, the more I felt I could express myself. Music freed my mind, it allowed me to breathe, it saved my life... and continues to do so.

I hack computers as if they were my own brain and love to transform my thoughts, ideas and emotions into sounds combining my use of analog and digital mediums. I am an artist, a musician, a philosopher, and a poet. I have played instruments for more than 15 years but have focused the past 6 of those years more towards digital music production with interests in: Trip Hop, Hip Hop, Ambient, Breaks, Trance, Dubstep, Drum & Bass.

While primarily a studio producer/musician, I have at times made the rare stage performance; performing in Live-Electronica collaborations WayOne and Silent Assassins, the latter of the two sharing the stage with DJ Krush in Philadelphia.
