With social commentary on subjects such as the #war in #Gaza and persecution of #Palestinians, animals suffering in captivity such as Billy the #elephant at the #LAzoo, the cruelty of #horseracing, #mass_shootings in America, #suicide, #NelsonMandela (a tribute), life in #LaurelCanyon, and poems by #Yeats and #Shelley put to music, Nicolette Aubourg’s songwriting is diverse and thought-provoking. Her goal is to contribute to making the world a better place, especially for animals, the environment and victims of war, famine and conflict. Nicolette is also a #visual_artist and uses her paintings as her music cover art and liner notes.
