Hamburg based DJ "Kietz & Katze" has art flowing through his veins: Apart from Djing, he is an active painter, sculputerer, photographer and promoter of underground Deep House, Minimal and Electro events. He started playing Downbeat and New-Jazz in 1998. In early 2010 he caught the attention of Moscows Chris Helmbrecht, who is one of the key figures in Russias music and nightlife scene. His open-minded House-sets earned him gigs in places all around the world and mummies kitchen. Mixing many cultural influences, tempos and styles together, but always keeping a fine eye on the quality, Kietz & Katze captures his crowds to the point of boiling. One thing is for sure: His smile is just as infectious as his music. When showing off, he likes to write about himself in third person.
