@somerleds is a selector and DJ hailing from Wellington, New Zealand.

He first got turned on to electronic music in the very early 1990s when passed a UK hardcore cassette in the halls of Wellington College. He then immersed himself in all things electronic seeking out warehouse raves and outdoor festivals where futuristic soundscapes from Goa trance to German techno were unleashed upon the ravers.

Somerled's influences have evolved from these early days to now include anything on the spectrum of electronica from acid house to progressive trance to drum and bass. With many up and coming producers re-framing the original sounds of the 90s with vastly improved production tools and techniques, Somerled is now inspired to go back to his roots and mix tracks close to his heart.

Direct from the Paradise Lounge (previously the infamous Pit Bar) in Wellington, New Zealand, Somerled blends all forms of electronica across the spectrum.

In 2012 he conducted hands-on studio work with his father and thats when he came up with the idea of making his own movement company (Empirical Leader Universe Productions) (also now known as E.L.U.P)
Whiz started song writing since the age of 9 however, it wasn't till he was 15 where he started to become a DJ Investing 100,000+ hours into his craft venturing into many different styles and genres of music. His Universal Vibe of Peace and Love brings together a calling of people in an empirical way, may all who come into his presence find inspiration from the works he does so that you can manifest and create your dreams from your hearts and souls!
