With over 2 years in the making, the debut of Luis Leon on Nie Wieder Schlafen feels like a long overdue salvation. The highly explorative mind of Luis has always fascinated us and while the right moment has taken it's time, his sound was always admired in some shape and form. At last, we were finally able to capture his vision in our framework, which allowed his sound to prosper with our collaborative touch. With incredible patience and careful selection throughout the last years of communication, Luis Leon's debut comes with the name of "My Ears Have Tears".

"Understanding of Re" is the ambient opening of Luis' debut EP, which lays focus on textures and subtle modulations of sounds, to give an insight of the release, while easing in the listener. From reversed melodics and breathing basslines to soundscapes and white noises - a meditative introduction to this dancefloor release.

Luis and Haider are our latest editions to the label and both still have so much forthcoming on this platform, that it is wonderful to see their first collaboration end this debut of Luis, while also giving a tease of what is to come in the not so distant future. Original layed out as a remix, "Des Magiciens" quickly became its own original piece.
