Lynsey started her journey into dance music in the early 90’s after friends took her to Renaissance at Venue 44 in Mansfield. From the start she loved the progressive house and tougher techno sound and was a regular at The Orbit in Morley, Ark and Soak both in Leeds.She worked in a record shop at the time, buying her first set of Technics 1210's originally so she could do something with her addiction to buying vinyl. She began playing breakbeat in clubs around Manchester and shortly after that her voyage into
DnB began. She landed 2 residencies in her home town of Huddersfield and 2 radioshows (Future sounds and
Liquid sessions) which resulted in her playing at various events across the country. She had a 5-year break whilst raising her son, but returned to the music scene in 2018. A friend she met on the progressive house circuit encouraged her to get back on the decks and that’s where her current following started which 
has been rising ever since. 

She is known for building atmospheric breaks sets that meander through progressive breaks and progressive house effortlessly, inviting her listeners to join her on a journey. More recently she has been favouring the darker, driving progressive house sounds too. 

Lynsey has 2 monthly shows on Subcode radio. Momentum being her breaks show and Yana, a 6-hour showcase where she is joined by producers and dj's from across the world dance music spectrum. She has put many guest mixes together and is known for being a Dj's DJ. She recently reached top 10 with a guest mix on the Proton Radio 
 station and has several on Frisky radio's archives, A.A.T.M and DI.FM

She has several live events planned where you will find her playing alongside Lexicon Avenue and Enertia-Sound amongst many others and her own YANA live events are also planned to start off this year too.

This is the 1st radio show I’ve decided play live with no prep.  I’ve always organized my mixes track by track.  I love the creative process of exploring music and finding what works together creating a musical journey.  However I really did enjoy making this on the fly.  
I think going forward for my radio shows I’ll create mixes in this way.  The unpredictability of which track is coming up next and mixing in a track I may not be familiar with adds to a special vibe as well.

AMRA is a visual artist and a rising Dj in the Toronto underground scenes, her deeply rooted connection to psychedelic music has led her to explore these sounds as a Dj in hopes of creating celestial experiences with her curated journeys. Playing across the psychedelic spectrum and BPM ranges she is known for her energy behind the decks, mixing and leading the dance floor to a state of trance. Passionate about culture and community, AMRA is also a resident dj, playing and curating lineups at Kalibr8 events and collaborating with many of Toronto’s event productions and Dj’s.

We welcome Mikhail Maximenko a.k.a Mishandinho for the fifty-fifth edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series. Hailing from the enchanting city of Krasnodar in southern Russia, Mishandinho emerged as a prodigious talent in the realm of electronic music. From the age of 12, he found solace and fascination in the captivating melodies of this vibrant genre. As a teenager, he ventured into the depths of music production, exploring various programs and techniques to bring his sonic visions to life.

Embarking on a musical odyssey, Mishandinho took his first tentative steps into the world of production, releasing his early compositions under the moniker "Top." These initial offerings caught the attention of discerning ears, finding their way onto esteemed labels, marking the dawn of a promising career. However, destiny had other plans, as a seven-year hiatus beckoned, temporarily eclipsing his creative pursuits. In 2020, Mikhail, now rejuvenated and reinvented, resurfaced in the musical landscape under the alluring pseudonym Mishandinho, an homage to the magical prowess of Brazilian football virtuoso Ronaldinho. Embracing the ethereal realms of Deep and Progressive House, he unravelled a musical identity that resonated with his soul.

Today, Mishandinho proudly stands as an esteemed artist under the prestigious HOROSHO label, captivating audiences with his enchanting compositions. Drawing inspiration from the past, his musical preferences find solace in the works of iconic artists such as BT, Deadmau5, Dousk, Westbam, Ashley Beedly, and Gabriel Ananda. Revering the modern soundscape, he finds affinity in the creations of Dmitry Molosh, Simon Vuarambon, and Guy J. This carefully curated mixtape showcases Mishandinho's musical repertoire, a harmonious fusion of his original productions and cherished works from fellow maestros. Mishandinho extends a warm greeting, inviting you to embark on a mesmerizing journey, guided by the wizardry of electronic music itself.

Nigel was resident DJ at Renaissance UK from 1992-2008. He moved to Sydney, Australia in 2008 and dropped out of the music scene for 10 years. 
In 2018 he came back to his passion and started to enjoy the music again and got involved with doing mixes , including Balance. 
He concentrated his own monthly radio show hosted on Proton Radio called Spatial that  ended after 3 years.
