Martin is an Argentine-Italian DJ and Producer currently based in Barcelona.  His sets are filled with stories, chords, and grooves that captivate audiences. 

He has performed at renowned venues around the world, including Pacha (Barcelona), Cova Santa (Ibiza), Colorado Charlie (Netherlands), and various other countries. 

Martin has shared the stage with international DJ’s such as Nick Warren, Deer Jade, Sebastien Leger, Rodriguez Jr, Armen Miran, Landikhan, Fur Coat, Fedele, Parallels, and many others. He is also a member of The Soundgarden team led by Nick Warren.

With his distinctive style and ability to blend different genres of electronic music, Martin Fredes has made a lasting impact on the music scene, taking his music to new heights and captivating audiences worldwide with his unmatched talent.

Hola a todos! Yes, we are back with the series that everyone is talking about, Il Modo's globe-trotting Progcast homes into view once again, packed to the rafters with another exclusive DJ mix from the far reaches of Planet Progressive.

This week we are in South America again, but for our first ever visit to Peru! Here we land at the home of an upcoming DJ/Producer whose name is already on many established labels, and is keen to elevate his status even higher. Check this out, from Jhordan Welsch! 

Jhordan Welsch was born in Lima - Peru in 1986. As a child he was always related to art and music. During his early years in school, he learned to play several instruments and was greatly influenced by popular music genres. He began listening to electronic music in the early 2000's. Even though at first trance was the biggest electronic genre, soon enough the scene evolved and progressive house emerged. He was captivated by the selection of DJ's like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and many more. Melodic and progressive music was what he always loved, DJ'ing as a hobby using computers at first.

The pandemic proved to be a crucial time for his dedication to music. He began learning about music production and eventually signed his first track in 3rd Avenue, Madloch's fantastic underground label. Soon came other releases in labels such as AH Digital, Symmetric Records, Polyptych, Wander Nation Records, Future Avenue, Balkan Connection South America and South America Avenue. Some unofficial remixes came as well, which are contributing to his growth on platforms like Soundcloud. 

He has received the support of many established DJ's and producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Fernando Ferreyra, JFR, Rigooni, Salazar, DJ Ruby, Balad, Ignacio Berardi, Mariano Favre and many others. The future seems hopeful for this emerging artist. With new music always on the way, he continues to receive the support of his peers through solid melodic releases.

With a lifelong love of progressive/electronic music underpinning everything he does, James’ ability to connect with an audience has seen him perform at iconic festivals, clubs, and warehouse parties across Australia.
As the founder of the globally recognised progressive house label Late Night Music, James' presence in the progressive electronic music scene is felt far and wide. His original productions and remixes have received widespread support from industry giants such as Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Jamie Stevens, Subandrio, Kasey Taylor, Nicholas Rada, Praveen Archary, Sonic Union, Maceo Plex, and many more. He has also received remixes from artists such as Dmitry Molosh, Golan Zocher, Robert Babicz, Ewan Rill, and Loco & Jam.

In addition to his work in the studio and as a label owner, James is also an accomplished audio engineer. Having setup his own professional studio, James helps artists to perfect their mixes and achieve their musical vision in the studio.

James' monthly radio show Friction on the internationally renowned Proton Radio is a testament to his passion for sharing great music with the world. His ear for sound has seen him become a sought-after engineer, while his ability to curate great music has made him a respected tastemaker.

2024 see’s James release his 3rd EP titled Tranquility, plus the year also sees him delivering a hand full of remixes and collaborations with this year set to be James’ busiest yet. With his unwavering dedication to his craft, James Beetham is sure to continue making an impact in the electronic music scene for many years to come.

Nigel was resident DJ at Renaissance UK from 1992-2008. He moved to Sydney, Australia in 2008 and dropped out of the music scene for 10 years. 
In 2018 he came back to his passion and started to enjoy the music again and got involved with doing mixes , including Balance. 
He concentrated his own monthly radio show hosted on Proton Radio called Spatial that  ended after 3 years.
