As a homegrown artist with chart topping productions on heavyweight international record labels, a penchant for playing DJ sets that resonate across the world and a successful imprint of his own – Praveen Achary holds the trump card most artists in his genre would kill for.

Having productions signed to relevant record labels like Cid Inc’s'Replug Records', Mitch Alexander's 'microCastle', Darin Epsilon's 'Perspectives Digital', he’s a regular on Beatport's Top 100 Progressive House Charts. To top that, he has officially remixed Above & Beyond, Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Sonic Future and more.

His record label, Juicebox Music, is India's premier melodic and deep progressive house imprint with a roster that includes Dousk, Petar Dundov, David Granha, Kasper Koman & Alex O'Rion among others. Regularly climbing the ranks of the global industry’s best imprints in it’s space.

Praveen's mix-sets are a testament to his adaptability, which is why he has played at many club nights and festivals including Sunburn, Vh1 Supersonic, Electric Daisy Carnival and Go:Madras apart from having the honour of officially opening twice for electronic dance music’s legendary trance trio - 'Above & Beyond' and for Eric Prydz / Pryda’s debut tour in India. The former collaboration also led to Praveen officially remixing the title track – "We Are All We Need" for their latest album's India edition.

Taking his sound outside local shores, Praveen has played gigs in Mauritius, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal; and shared the console with John Digweed, Richie Hawtin, Deadmau5, Booka Shade, James Zabiela, Dave Seaman, Guy J, Jody Wisternoff, Matador, Henry Saiz, Dosem to name a few.

CJ Art - Deepersense Music Showcase 098 (February 2024) on DI.FM

I had the privilege of playing a closing set on the birthday of our dear friend “Marije” in Studio 27 in Amsterdam. I was originally going to play from 2:30 AM to 4:00 AM but that turned into 6:00 AM. I had prepared a melodic house set of about 1 hour and then I would take a step back and play progressive house for half an hour. However, this turned out to be 3.5 hours, including two hours of free wheeling. Maybe a little messy but at that moment it was perfect.

Ik had het voorrecht om een afsluit set te draaien op de verjaardag van onze lieve vriendin “Marije” in Studio 27 te Amsterdam. Ik zou oorspronkelijk draaien van 02:30 tot 04:00 maar dat werd 06:00. Ik had een melodic house setje voorbereid van ongeveer 1 uur en zou daarna een stapje terug gaan en een half uurtje progressieve house draaien. Dit werden echter 3.5 uur waarvan twee uur lekker free wheelen. Misschien een beetje rommelig maar op dat moment was het perfect.

From the love for banging Trance over driving Techno to hypnotic Progressive, from remixing Progressive House legends to collaborating with Grammy Nominees, from playing small venues to big festivals – The Wash has done it all. Since having started as a young club kid with vinyl in his pocket, the guy from Austria has made himself a name in the scene of contemporary electronic music.

His production approach towards deep, hypnotic club tunes with a large portion of groove and a pinch of melody has caught the attention of artists on every corner of the map, his productions and remixes are played and admired by legends from Nicole Moudaber over Guy J to Cosmic Gate and are regular guests in the Beatport Top 100.

In his sets, he transfers his production style on the dancefloor. In long journey gigs he regularly showcases his DJ skills all night long and sets the mood for an intense party night.

Nigel was resident DJ at Renaissance UK from 1992-2008. He moved to Sydney, Australia in 2008 and dropped out of the music scene for 10 years. 
In 2018 he came back to his passion and started to enjoy the music again and got involved with doing mixes , including Balance. 
He concentrated his own monthly radio show hosted on Proton Radio called Spatial that  ended after 3 years.
