Inspired by the amazing https://soundcloud.com/strictly/caught-in-the-middle-of-a-3, the Paul's Boutique reversion mix by DJs Food (https://soundcloud.com/strictly), Moneyshot (https://soundcloud.com/dj-moneyshot) and Cheeba (https://soundcloud.com/cheeba), I thought I'd have a go at deconstructing that other Dust Brothers' produced sampladelic masterpiece - Beck's Odelay.

It's a bit rough around the edges and a strictly amateur effort, so it's in NO WAY comparable to the aforementioned Beasties mix. Although DJ Food has done me the massive honour of telling me that he "loves it". Thanks Kev : )

With all the main sampled tracks included along with b-side remixes, period interviews/audio clips and some other oddments to add to the Odelay odour, it hopefully gives a flavour of the making of this amazing album. 

All hail the Dust Brothers. I was desperate to include audio from a great Youtube clip of Mike and John discussing the making of Where It's At where they play some of Beck's sampled chorus vocals - but the sound was just too shitty, despite my efforts to restore it.
