“Shake It” by Misano

This track was born out of pure passion and spontaneity.
It took just three sessions — the first one started on a cliff at sunset, where I wrote the bass line on my laptop keyboard. I got into a full groove, closed the screen, and flew straight to the studio.
There, I built the whole track in one flow.
The second session was for fine touches, and in the last one — I listened back and knew it was done.

That’s how Shake It came to life — raw, impulsive, and full of movement.

On our 4th installment of This is Night Bass we’ve wrangled a nice mix of new and familiar names to the label, with sounds ranging from heaviest UKG to the grooviest house. We were stoked to land an epic tune from our globe-trotting Aussie friends Yolanda Be Cool and fellow Aussie bass-maker Wongo. On top of that we’ve got UK legends Champion and DJ Q each gracing our compilation with serious garage heaters.
