Our good friend @Taiki-Nulight-uk is back on @NightBassRecords, blessing us with his ‘Soundwave’ EP. He truly proves the diversity of his sound in this one, offering us the more techy side of Taiki Nulight which becomes apparent in his title track “Soundwave’, featuring vocals from @DreadMC and a bumpin’ tech-house beat. The 4x4 beat in his collaboration with @Shift-key ‘Lil Mama” carries this vibe through the EP, leading into UK bass-tinged ‘Turn It Up’ to round off the EP.

The title track delivers a UK influenced bassline to a 4/4 dance beat that drops you into the low-swinging bassline of the dark & moody ‘Crooks’. The mesmerizing vocal samples set the scene for ‘All Day’, before rolling into crunchy, shape-shifting breakdowns. With a foundation set in heavy, textured bass sounds, ‘Backstage’ gives way to ominous breakbeats coupled with a massive garage-influenced bass drop. @Hotfiredjs strongly rounds off the release with club-ready, head knockin’ sounds of ‘Tell It’.

The @219Boys bless @NightBassRecords with their new ‘Certified’ EP. The title track is indeed a certified banger, featuring @LoveRossylo verses over an ethereal melody and a textured bass drop. The sweet melodies continue in ‘Senses’, where a shuffling bassline is ushered in by fantasy-provoking synths and sample work, paving the way for ‘Interchange’ - an elegant interplay between beautiful harmonies and dissonant bass drops. To round things off, the boys called upon @lowdownmusik for a ‘Certified’ remix, taking the track into bounce town with his own driving bassline, sealing the EP off on a high note.
