“Hybrid Xtended” es un acuerdo mutuo entre dos personas a post de su encuentro por primera vez en un mundo físico. Es un acercamiento desde la lejanía a través de los medios de comunicación como soporte al amor y la amistad. “No fue hasta la llegada del telégrafo que pudieron los mensajes viajar más rápidamente que los mensajeros. Antes, las carreteras y las palabras escritas estaban estrechamente relacionadas entre sí. Es sólo desde el telégrafo que la información ha podido disociarse de soportes tan sólidos como la piedra o el papiro como antes se disoció el dinero de las pieles y metales preciosos para acabar en papel.” Es la creación de metáforas en forma de sonidos, texturas, afectos y memoria almacenada. El internet se convirtió en un punto / refugio de encuentro para cargar y descargar ideas, pensamientos y de esta forma mantener “la conexión”, mantenerse "online".

Inspiradxs en el libro de Marshall Mcluhan “Comprender los medios de comuicación” y “Cyborg Anthropology”, donde el autor plantea que las todos los cambios sociales son el efecto que las nuevas tecnologías ejercen sobre el orden de nuestras vidas sensoriales. Su concepto de aldea global ha dado origen al de globalización, término que parece definir la actual sociedad de la información.

Vermillion: Proyecto realizado por María Emilia Pérez (VEN), que surge a mediados del 2016 cuya propuesta trabaja con medios electroacústicos, composición asistida con computador y objetos sonoros. Las intenciones creativas se orientan a la búsqueda de sonoridades de diversas culturas asiatícas, su cosmovisión y tradiciones.

Diego Yañez Aguilera: Diseñador de Audio, Sonidista y Músico chileno. Dedicado a explorar los diferentes campos sonoros, aprender lo que no domina y enseñar lo que ha aprendido. Es miembro / fundador de la actual banda “La Bestia de Gevaudan” y el colectivo “Feral”.

Color remains
The frame opens up with an introduction,
The words move forward,
Red and purple;
Browsing time is set to a 20 second visual.
After leaving the theatre, it’s cast
Spreading across the road
Like syrup, cut with silver light.
But the candles don’t help.
Start tucking the sheets underneath the mattress
And the red candle in the back.
Pulling strings and hooks to make something happen
Is always a slip-up.
Waiting for another drink and browse the backlight,
Again and again, dozens and hundreds
Of times.
You see a fog;
This is translated into swirled fragments.
A plate of biscuits lays in front
Of your bare feet,
And you contemplate for a moment
Before stepping back on them.

Step forward with one foot,
For the rest of your days.
And the money isn’t good.
Let the tea soak for a moment;
The red stands still.
It grows within cold skin,
Mouth, and unresponsive eyes.
The soil below is covered with a layer of tall grasses,
Each clump out of view.
It is the year’s circles sprouting and growing,
The height twisting and expanding outwards again.
Forests live in your garden
And several can be seen
Sitting under a parasol,
Trying to reverse the energy’s flow.
The glass shop fronts hum softly
And the empty houses sleep
While the energy is preserved
In the attic of cold wet wood.
Time is asleep;
Rest with cloudy mind and single point of focus for four minutes.
The city’s bricks rotted away
Into multi-chromatic eyes.
Then focus finally settles on
The hoses laid out
Red, blue, green and yellow.
The next scene opens with shambling
Red shoes,
Outstretched towards honey,
A soft steady fall in filter-bag cloth;
A body woven out of rubber bands
Is unable to stand,
While a food processor emits a bouncy steady rhythm
Made the motor hum,
And the melodies develop and
Carry the action to its conclusion.
I always worry where I’m going to sleep.

Suddenly a soft breeze seems to blow
Between the massive buildings;
The white noise of the line
Becomes a monotonous drone,
Ruled over by the rising and falling tones.
You don’t even notice when it stops,
The noise is gone,
But no one seems to be surprised by this,
And you forget how you ever communicated before.
The sound of silence is like a locomotive
Rolling through the room.
The soft hiss of cables breaking
Makes you wonder what the hell is going on.

It is an obsession
That grows out of the fragmenting nature of cheap smiles;
The soap-opera appeals to the lowest common denominator,
While the landscape feels like it is
Crumbling.
The sun hangs low
And
A galaxy of stars
Shines through
A car window.
The colors reflect
Off of your skin.
Your smile glows.
The sound of blown grass
Rains down on the scene
That will be in the next show.
It’s the
Taste of
Candy colors,
Which is all that remains
In a blank slate
And a fresh start.
The memories may fade,
But their colors remain,
Glaring in their brightness
And
Frustration.

" NightBirds ", duo de musique électronique / expérimentale, originaire du sud de la France créé à la fin de l’année 1985.

L’idée de départ est née d’une simple phrase :  " créer la musique que l’on aurait aimé entendre ".
Le ton est ainsi lancé.

Le groupe ira dans la direction d’achats de multiples synthétiseurs analogiques, un monde sans mémoire et pour une création sonore infinie.
Leurs influences sont larges, mais pour seul point commun : le synthétiseur.

De 85 à 91 : ils enregistrent une multitude de démos sur K7 audio et bandes magnétiques afin de trouver un style propre à eux-mêmes. A cette occasion, ils finalisent leur première K7, un album (fin 89) : " GEODE ".
Le projet " Géode " est un des aboutissements de recherches et d’idées de leur musique, mais également une ouverture pour le style que les " NightBirds " vont se créer.
Le 26 juin 1993 : participation au festival " Electronic Waves " (Paris).
Suite à ce concert : de nombreux travaux sur bandes, continuité dans la recherche, l’expérimentation, mais aussi études sur les synthétiseurs et leur possibilité sur de nouvelles créations.
1994 : nouveaux travaux sur la bande de démo " Géode " et remasterisation.
Réalisation d’un mini album sur K7 : " Tree Birds ", jamais édité ou distribué.
En octobre 1995, ils donnèrent un concert de 2h30 au " Palais des Congrès du Cap d’Agde " : musiques improvisées et séquences sont au programme...

" Nightbirds " is a french duo founded in 1985 by twin brothers who are interested in new electronic music.

At the very beginning, the original idea was to release an album late in 1985 with the few instruments they had. So Came their first self-produced album " Géode ".
After some years, " Nightbirds " presented their project live in 1993, at the " Electronic Waves " festival in Paris (France).
After this performance, the band studied electronic music instruments and mastering techniques.

The music of " Nightbirds " is like a picture of sounds full of ambiances, minimalism and electroacoustic events.
The band could be identified by the creation of long pieces like a gallery where artists could meet each other.

Their music in now known through self-produced releases and through some contributions like the " Dreamwatchers' Tales " series.
Now, " Nightbirds " go on their way creating electronic landscapes...
