“Justice or Mercy” is the first single to drop from the upcoming and much anticipated debut album from Syzygy, a Melbourne duo; Rebecca Maher and Gus Kenny both formerly of beloved synth-punk band Spotting. This new project explores a more unadulterated electronic aesthetic combined with an unabashed pop sensibility. It’s high octane and fantastically enjoyable. Gus’ impellent synth lines build to a galloping breakdown while Bec’s celestial voice describes the age old story of life after love gone wrong.

Class on your turntable, what we have here is a stunning crime-jazz soundtrack blended with exotica flavor, composed by one of the main legends of Italian sound - Armando Trovajoli. The maestro at his best, with an outstanding still undiscovered film score, and unreleased on every format until today. The amazing main theme, sung by the astonishing voice of Lyda McDonald, was published on an mega-rare 7'' on the RCA label in 1961 and is now impossible to find. Mastered from the original master tapes, Four Flies Records is proud to present this completely unheard and timeless soundtrack in its entirety.
