Thank you, guys. This mini-LP is the best 2022 record for me. Absolutely fascinating and brilliant. Since it was suggested by Spotify, I've been listening to it over and over again.

Snakedance is based in Hamburg. In 2019 he started together with some friends @hallo-radio which is an online radio, but with a strong focus on the local community and on realizing events connected to the locality.
His musical roots are in Dresden to where he is still connected through @zeptermusik , a project of musical exploration through events, DJing and unearthing recordings.

For us he made a morphing set of creepy tribal electronics and ambiance. A restlessness surrounds even the more relaxed parts of the mix, which end up  sometimes even in rave reminiscences. Rather than focussing on individual tracks, there is a omnipresent and continuous rhythm, a everending flow that makes the songs merge into another. This transformations from one previous form to the next is creating a central tension during the listen, which ultimately leads to something new, a hypnotic beauty, an unnameable third.

Circuit Diagram is a Hamburg/Berlin based electroacoustic-trance duo, founded in 2010 by Kris Jakob (aka F#X) and Nicolas Sheikholeslami (aka Çaykh), which summons a psychedelic blend of percussion and electronics. Imagine a sound that merges Berlin School into the 4th World or a „kraut-groovy, afro-beat from a jungle far from the bush“, as The Guardian once described the sound.

The mastering is done "in-house", the cover too, on the floor on all fours with pens, felt-tips, photos taken by Louis Waterlot, comrade of the Pays Noir, and the composition of Structure Bâtons.
