It's been a week now and we are still overwhelmed and buzzing from the vibe at AcidBogen. 
After a long winter not playing live and just rehearsing, we were a bit nervous to play our new analog live set for the first time and are more than happy how everything worked out in the end. It was so much fun to turn the knobs and twerk the sounds with this vibrant energy on the floor - a thousand thanks to all the lovely ravers who danced with us and made this moment unforgettable for us. 
And thank you dearest Mira for the invitation and the epic rave - it was one for the hearts <3 <3 <3

four years ago i played my first real live show at an event that i always heard legends about. i still remember my booker luca telling me that @mira_kater had asked for me to play a live set at her birthday in berlin. we thought it was a misunderstanding – "avem doesn't play live", he answered. mira responded: "i know." the motivation that this sparked in me is still hard to describe. 

she's is an artist that had a great influence on me already in my early raver days – i considered myself a fan, not someone to be sharing a stage. i did my best to finish new music and ended up having a lovely time with some of the most important people in my life by my side. four years later and it still feels like yesterday, even though a lot has happened. 

this year's show was quite emotional for me and i got into a very raw state – maybe some of you that were there can confirm that. playing directly after mira on heinz hopper surely contributed to that. i felt at home being back at this event and got to spend a great night with a lot of people that by have gone from idols to friends. i am so grateful for the journey and want to say a big thank you to everyone who's been part of it so far. this especially goes out to the people who put their trust in me and my craft. in that spirit, happy birthday mira <3 

PS: i'm aware that not all of the music in here completely new. but be sure, there is lots of new stuff in the oven. i'd just rather show it to you when it's ready :-)

almost all new and unreleased tracks.

it still has a few rough edges in it, so we almost didn't release it.
but we also didn't want to record it again or fix it. it is what it is and will be different every time.
but it had so much energy, it fit perfectly that evening!
we had so much fun dancing with you.

i was so focused on finishing new tunes for this year's edition that i arrived late to kater blau, set up as fast as possible and forgot to press record :-) thankfully, with the help of kater's recording i was able to salvage something. i hope you enjoy this frankenstein recreation of that lovely day in berlin. it's mostly new and unreleased music of mine. massive thanks to dear @mira_kater for having me once again.
