Russian bass producer, DJ and composer originally from Yekaterinburg. Teacher of the school of DJs and electronic music writing, working under the eponymous brand "Impulse", created by the company "Raveconcept" Promotion & Event Management - participants in the promotion of electronic music festivals in Russia.

Maurice was born in The Netherlands. From a very young age, he had a very good sense of rhythm. His mother had the cd track ‘The Tramps - Zing Went The Strings’ playing in the car during a road trip and suddenly, he started tapping with his hand on his legs. His parents looked up and reacted like ‘wow, repeat the song again and lets have a look’ and yes, he was tapping the same rhythm on his legs.

When he was at the age of 14, he was starting to play on the drums. His parents were playing in a band and sometimes, Maurice was asked to play with them and it did go well. My parents thought from that moment that he is going to be a good drummer.

In the year of 2000, he was listening for the first time to house & trance music. One of his older cousins played the disc of ‘Lexion (The First), mixed by DJ Jose’. His favorite house track was ‘Jose vs. G-Spott - House Of Justice (Club Caviar Mix)’ & his favorite trance track ‘Syrinx - The Game’.

Middle 2003, Maurice was starting to experimenting with a DJ software called ‘Virtual DJ’, playing classic Trance and Dance tracks at home. 
His favorite artists are Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. 

Starting 2008, he started to produce his first tracks with the producing software FL Studio 8. Not so long after, he was working with FL Studio 9 and his first successful production was his track Aletsch. The track is an uplifting Trance style, one of his most favorite subgenres of Trance.
With that track, he also participated with a music competition, called The Radio538 Demo Duel, a national contest. He went through the qualifying rounds and the semi-finals, but didn't win the finals, but the most important thing he had in his mind is that he gained experience and fun on the stage.

End 2009, he bought a MIDI/USB DJ Controller and started to work with the new Traktor 3 LE digital dj software. Slowly switching over, mixing with a good solid Numark Stealth Control DJ Controller and around middle 2010, he upgraded his digital software to Traktor Pro.

Late 2010, he started to switch slowly from FL Studio to Cubase, made some reworks of his own tracks & focusing on Uplifting Trance productions with some addictive African and Cubanic percussion intro's, breaks and sometimes funky and pop grooves.

Late 2011, he released his very first EP called Carebout You on Nu Communicate Recordings, owned by DJ/Producer Ben Alonzi in the UK. Not long thereafter, he released beginning 2012 his second EP called Phoenix Of Light, also under the same label.

Around april 2012, he released his very first single 'Family Reunion (Original Mix)' under the sublabel of Fuzion Four, called 'Fuzion Four Euro' and not long thereafter, in May, his second single 'Blaze Of Love (Original Mix)', also under the same label.

From 2013 to 2015, he also signed other several originals & remixes at Linger Records, Gent Trance Division, Condura Recordings, OvertMind Recordings and again Fuzion Four Records.

From 2016 till present day, he produces with the DAW ‘Cubase Pro 9’ from Steinberg & ‘Pioneer Rekordbox’ software for his music library before playing.

Also producing under his second alias ‘Aurora Vision’ since 2015, experimenting with the style of Progressive House/Trance.
