I loved spending these three hours and opening the club for @voiski's live set and @sinaxxmusic. 
Starting with deep techno and moving towards something more mental, broken and full of weird textures, using sometimes timeless bangers and new musical weapons. This set was full of spontaneity and that's why it was this good.
Sadly, the record cut somewhere before the end of my set for some reasons but nevermind, feeling really stoked to have these 2,5 hours as a reminder.

The fourth instalment of our podcast sees us return to the far North, where we find amongst the foothills of the ragged highlands Glaswegian based friend and artist Kairogen - whose careful devotion to the mixing craft has seen her grow from strength to strength in recent years. A regular behind the decks at the iconic Subclub, we were delighted to bring Kairogen down to Leeds for our launch party where we were totally captivated by an enchanting session that drove us deep into the night.

For this episode the drums do sound in the deep, with an expertly curated hour of deep, tribal rhythms and textures to awaken our most basest of instincts. The sprawling canopy of the banyan tree, with its aerial roots reaching down to the earth, symbolizes the diverse landscape of my musical exploration within this mixtape. Much like the banyan's ability to thrive in various environments, from dense forests to urban landscapes, my mixtape traverses through a multitude of electronic music genres. From the deep, atmospheric beginnings reminiscent of the shaded undergrowth to the vibrant crescendos akin to sunlit clearings, the mixtape mirrors the adaptability and resilience of the banyan tree.

COLA REN is a music producer and DJ based in Guangzhou, China. Her sound is inspired by her observations of humanity, introspection, and experiences traveling the globe. She excels in using sound to depict organic visuals and emotional colors, guiding listeners through rhythms originating from different roots of the world.
Her debut self-released EP 'Hailu', a fulsome ambient, Balearic, and downtempo brew with a gorgeous sense of melody and spirituality that offers a soothing escape, which has received early support from Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivkovic, Salamanda, K-LONE, Al Wootton, Joe Delon, Mixmag Asia and more. She also made appearances on international radio stations such as NTS, HÖR, Kiosk Radio and Rinse FM.

Herbarium No 19 - COLA REN - Ficus Benghalensis

Nahim Bendjilali aka Nems-B is a DJ and producer based in Marseille, and manager of the famous Phonons podcast series. He's been mixing for over twenty years, and you can tell from the subtlety and precision of his sets, as much as from the impeccable selection of his tracks. As a producer, he's had some great releases on prestigious labels such as On Board Music and Oslated, and he's also included a wonderful track on our brand new compilation ACCENTVA008! 
We're delighted to welcome him here today for the month of May, in a set that's precisely groovy, subtle and minimalist, that's both deep and progressive, powerful and haunting. Nems-B offers us here what only excellent DJs know how to do: constantly create the illusion of a third unreleased track and yet, like a retinal persistence, this impression of 'deja vu' without being able to easily define the reference tracks. Bon voyage, and may May be happy and danceable!

Ronny Pinazza (@ronny_pinazza) tries to convey the feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language. His DJ sets are always driving, ritualistic. Natural sounds and hypnotic melodies allow the listener to reach another state of consciousness. His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds. The listener is transported in a space that seems to exist between the stars. Deep in his heart he believes in infinity and that time and space are only imaginations. His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out to develop his musical language. Ronny Pinazza has released 2 EPs on Cellar Door records, EP and single on MDivision Group Records. Collaborated on VAs on Indefinite Pitch, Initiate Records, Free Palestine Charity VA, Linee Sonore. For the seventh installment of our podcast series, we are happy to present you with the live recording of Antenes's set.

Having met Antenes nearly a decade ago in Taipei, we found her more than a natural match for our events: An esteemed and well-acclaimed sound designer, producer, and DJ, Antenes has a natural radar for the music that finds itself floating between soothing soundscapes, wistful textures, and the occasional, and possibly accidental acid kick, leaving listeners in, somewhat, surreal state, on the edges of reality and the liminal. In her own words, her music aims to "make us lose our sense of time." This is evident as her set meanders through different spheres over two hours, through gentle escapes, heavy turns, an occasional beat, and timeless drone loops, leaving listeners with a sonic journey in which time finds no place. ポッドキャスト・シリーズの第7回目として、今年の2月12日に特別な音響設備を備える東京の神楽音で録音されたAntenesによるハイブリッドライブの録音をシェアできることになりました。

10年近く前に台北で出会ったAntenesが、私たちのイベントに自然と調和することは明らかで、この特別なセッションでは、彼女の長年にわたる経験、つまり高名なサウンドデザイナー、プロデューサー、DJの中で培われてきた感性が余すとこなく発揮されました。

彼女は、音楽に対する天性のレーダーを持っており、心地よいサウンドスケープ、切ないテクスチャー、アシッドキックの間を漂う音楽は、リスナーを現実と境界線の端にいるような、どこか超現実的（LIMINAL）な感覚へと適切な方法で案内します。彼女自身の言葉を借りれば、彼女の音楽は "時間の感覚を失わせる"と表現できます。穏やかな逃避行、ヘヴィな展開、時折聞こえるビート、時代を超えたドローン・ループなど、2時間以上にわたってさまざまな領域を蛇行する彼女のセットを聴けば、この言葉の意味が明らかになるでしょう。タイムレスな時空旅行をお楽しみください。
