Over the past seventeen years, Nikhilesh Teki has been mastering the art of playing Electronic Dance Music, after enrolling for a pro DJ course at Tiger Lily Productions in 2007. Being a Resident DJ at Cheroot Malt & Cigar Lounge – ITC Grand Chola, High – The Raintree, Winchester & Pulse – Radisson Blu City Centre, EC41 The Beach Club – VGP Resorts & at Rhapsody – Courtyard By Marriot, has made him an open format DJ, he likes to weave a long story through his sets, starting off with Electronica, Downtempo, Chillout and then moving towards NuDisco, Deep House, House, Tech House, Techno. For closure, it’s Hard Techno and Psy Trance. He believes in having an open mind when it comes to music and also loves to play the role of an emcee at his gigs. 

As a music producer, Teki runs his own record label, ‘Dhik Chik Music’ and he also worked as an audio engineer at Kalakshetra Foundation and at PayTM. 

Playing the role of an artist / stage manager at the Go:Madras Music Festival has molded him as an artist over the years and working at Home Grown Entertainment & Tracktical Entertainment has given him a wider perspective on the entertainment & nightlife industry.

In the recent past, he’s been playing as a duo along with his best friend, they are called ‘BreadandJam’ and has been a guest DJ at an intellectual property called ‘Funk’n Around’ where they curate gigs focusing on Disco, Funk & House at Farzi Cafe in Chennai.

At present, he works as an Audio Producer at Tag Collective Arts.
