Dantiez, born and bred in Michigan, is the son of Techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson and singer / songwriter Ann Saunderson. From an early age, surrounded by such influential creatives, Dantiez knew music was the way for him. Inspired by his generation’s reaction to electronica, Dantiez completely immersed himself in production and DJing. 

Directly connected to Detroit’s rich musical heritage, he learnt from his dad and fellow Techno innovators: Derrick May and Juan Atkins, whilst drawing further inspiration from the likes of Marco Carola, Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin and Dubfire. From this Dantiez honed his craft, with songs beginning to reflect all sides of his taste pallet: energetic, Detroit-infused, underground but with a Pop vibe that’s still rooted in Tech-House and Techno. 

These early explorations paid off. Dantiez secured tracks on esteemed labels, most notably: Defected, Toolroom, Nervous and of course KMS, the legendary label owned by his father, which Dantiez helped relaunch and now heads its A&R department. Alongside these production credentials, Dantiez was soon a busy touring DJ with many high-profile events under his belt, like Boiler Room and Movement Electronic Music Festival. Dantiez also earned his stripes as an in demand remixer, even asked to reinvent material by childhood heroes: Green Velvet and Carl Craig. 

This young man undoubtably knows what he wants and where he’s going, “Ultimately the sky’s the limit... I hope to keep travelling the world, sharing my music and good vibes with others”.

Signed by Roger Sanchez to Stealth Records back in 2009, Jason went on to be selected by Beatport as one of their ‘One To Watch / Emerging Artists’ nominees in 2011 & his profile was in ascendancy ever since. Sanchez & Stealth Records would go on to sign multiple singles from Jason, including his huge 'Looking Forward' single, featuring Michelle Weeks on vocal duty & with stellar remixes from The Shapeshifters & Stefano Noferini. Jason has gone on to release on labels such as Subliminal Records, 1605 Music Therapy, Zulu Records, Nocturnal Groove, Milk & Sugar, and more prominently, with several tracks signed to the mighty Toolroom Records in recent years. 

As a DJ, Jason effortlessly rocks the dancefloor through a unique combination of impeccable track selection and tight mixing, delivered with unbridled passion and energy. His sound is driving & energetic House & Tech House music and it's with this sound, that has seen him tour the globe successfully, from Serbia to Miami, from Russia to Dubai, Australia, Thailand and beyond.

In addition to his impressive discography, Jason has been a promoter for various club brands & events over the years & in 2014 he also added 'Radio DJ' to his ever-growing repertoire, joining Kane FM as a weekly host of his live 'Chance Sessions Radio Show', featuring guests such as Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, David Penn, etc.

I have played for 15 years. In the past I have played different genres. Starting from Hip Hop and R'n'B, moving to the sounds of Funky House combined with the first electro House of the years 2004 - 2005. After that I played for a few years a lot of House / Dance with commercial sound preferring  pop remixes and electro pop.
I approached an amateur hobby of writing music dictated by the strong need to have something mine in my record bag. Over the past two years I have been lucky enough to deal with some clubs where it was important to have a cleaner sound. I could finally leave out commercial House in favor of a more pure sound.
In the near future I hope to accomplish some productions with a project that I am working on with a friend. Lately I have been impressed by this return to the roots of House music contaminated by strong electronic sound of past years.
