Two dance suites written for harpsichord. These pieces are adapted from Trio Sonata No. 2 in G Minor, NWV 2, and Trio Sonata No. 4 in F Major, NWV 4.

Johann Nikolaus Quintz is a contemporary classical and baroque composer who draws inspiration from many composers, but most notably composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel, whose baroque work influence his style. Additionally, he finds inspiration in the works of classical composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn.

Quintz developed a passion for history and music early in life, which led him to start composing at a young age. His goal has been to produce music that is historically accurate to the 18th century. His compositions mostly combine elements of traditional Baroque and Classical styles sometimes with more experimental approaches.

The Nikolaus-Quintz-Werke-Verzeichnis (NWV) is the official chronological catalogue of works composed by Johann Nikolaus Quintz.
