Jill Avilez is a vocalist, poet, musician, artist and performer in Las Vegas, Nevada. 
Solo Bass Poet, Jazz Mistress, Soul Funk Philosetry
Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Charles Mingus, James Brown and her Philosophy books to create musical performance art self defined as Soul Scat Slap. Incorporating improv scat singing, spoken word and developing a percussive approach to Upright Bass has made her a unique act. Her live performances often incorporate burlesque dancers and stand up comedy. Often compared to Lady GaGa, Amy Winehouse and Adam Ben Ezra with an experimental Jazzy Soul. Currently performing in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and beyond promoting the new album "Where's & Why's." "Where's & Why's" is available on Spotify and all other music platforms.
