Here's a second song off of my upcoming EP "Here's To Changes Vol. 1" All instrumentation and vocals by me.
This is the counterpart to my song "Rings" - for all the other hopeless romantics out there.  I hope you enjoy! 

A Little Poetry

Thank you for waiting patiently! We hope this song creates some inspiration and introspection during these strange and troubling times.  


A couple of notes for those who want to know:

The voice you hear speaking at the beginning of the song is my favorite writer and activist, James Baldwin, reading from his essay "The Artist's Struggle For Integrity."

The female vocalist featured is my incredible fiancé Trinity Gahm, (side note: she improvised all of her lyrics and melodies - which absolutely blows my mind.)

The violin is played by my wildly talented friend Davis West. 

This is the first song I have ever played bass on! My old band mate and close friend Sam Collins contributed his master bassing to the song as well.  

Finally, my dear friend (and the first person I ever collaborated with) Dennis Scherdt (Ishka) co-produced, mixed, and mastered this song.  He also designed the cover art. Dennis is the brilliant mind that helped to transform this from an idea into a full, high quality production.  

Without any of these wonderful people this wouldn't have been possible.  

We hope it resonates with you.
