I can't squeeze any answers
from the genie sleeping in heaven.

The moon is a white whale
cracking the watery glass.
It plays with my creative mind.
I'm always hoping
.....peace will appear somehow.
And I've prayed that
.....the profitable gales of war
will miraculously pass.
Peace is not so easy to achieve.
I'm so very sad to say that
peace is not so easy to achieve.

Oh! I need to be away,
to have headed for the hills
where I can throw away the pills
and breathe in the natural air.
I need to be deep inside the trees
hiding from the crowds
letting my guitar sing
.....wonderfully loud.
I'll be strumming an'
the bees will be humming-
.....from this day on
..........in my neck of the woods
...............there'll be no wars allowed.
I will go to sleep in peace.

No one comes to my house..  so I ring the bell myself
