Thanks for checking out my release! This is the first track produced under my new production moniker, Nima.

The original mix was produced specifically as a standalone 'listen at home' cinematic journey and was over 6 months in the making.

The alternative beatless mix was originally planned as an orchestral version. However, once I'd stripped out some of the elements from the original mix I liked what I was hearing. The saxophone samples I then stumbled across, arranged and added in sealed the deal....

I used to stream on MixLR live a lot. This set is one of my live sets from 2011. Although I mostly mix on CDJs now I think my best mixes were always done in Ableton Live using an APC 40 MPK as I did with this set. My BPM has also dropped in my old age, but this set is a faster 131 or 132 I would guess. The track selection is one of my best in my humble opinion. It's all killer and no filler. It still holds up many years on...and on .. and on...and on...
