Thanks for checking out my release! This is the first track produced under my new production moniker, Nima.

The original mix was produced specifically as a standalone 'listen at home' cinematic journey and was over 6 months in the making.

The alternative beatless mix was originally planned as an orchestral version. However, once I'd stripped out some of the elements from the original mix I liked what I was hearing. The saxophone samples I then stumbled across, arranged and added in sealed the deal....

Following his Anjunadeep debut late last year with ‘Undercurrents’, London-based Frost now announces an official release for his massive single ‘Overtones’. 

A fan favourite from Anjunadeep 11, 'Overtones' became renowned for its killer breaks and addictive synth riff. Heavily influenced by the sound of classic UK house music, the track also features an inspirational anonymous sample. 

Originally from Sydney, Frost has released on Mau5trap, alongside official remixes for the likes of ZHU and Sofi Tukker. His crisp production illustrates why he has garnered support from industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong.

A year on, Anjunadeep presents two stunning remixes from LA's Promnite and Russia’s PROFF. Boasting a back-catalogue of hip-hop and dance, and production credits with the likes of Katy Perry, Lil Yachty, and A-Trak, Promnite demonstrates a further talent for melodic and deep house in his Anjunadeep debut, offering a gripping four-to-the-floor take on the original. 

First heard on Anjunabeats Volume 15, PROFF’s remix is imbued with a classic progressive house flavour, playing the main riff through a punchy drum mix that gives way to an elegant breakdown of strings and arpeggios.

Nima is a London based producer specialising in cinematic electronica, with an emphasis on piano, strings, breakbeats, driving arps, ethereal pads, dynamic FX and growling bass.

Influences include Hybrid, BETA, Karl Sav, Airwave, Faskil, Atrium Sun, Flack.su, Retroid and LoQuai.

Nima's first label release 'Daydreaming' reached No. 1 in the Beatport breakbeat charts in October 2023 and received DJ support from Framewerk, Retroid, Lynsey Whitwam, DJ Fonik, Simon Humphreys, Sean Strudwick, The Battery Human, DJ B-12, Dan Carver, Mike EQ, KostyaD & Floyd the Barber.

A re-edited version of Daydreaming was included in Framewerk's guestmix for John Digweed's Transition show in July 2024.
