Mr Rise has been turning heads in the scene since 2003 where he made his debut in Eugene, Oregon as a jungle and drum n bass DJ. As he made his way from show to show he met a lot of great people and represented some excellent production companies such as Flux from Eugene and Flair out of Portland. In 2007 he moved to San Francisco for career purposes and was unleashed upon a new canvas of music and art. Here he has been honing his mixing skills and has been playing many different parties and club nights around the Bay Area.
If you could describe Mr Rise's style it would be hard-edged and bass-heavy yet melodic and psychedelic.His specialties are jungle, drum n bass, dubstep, glitch hop, future blap, spacecrunk, trip hop, mash-up and and any other type of sick broken beats.
Mr Rise has had the pleasure of playing alongside many different amazing artists such as DJ Swamp, SPL, Rinse, NastyNasty, Thriftworks, DJG, Benito, So What,  Megalodon, and Samples just to name a few.
