"Spain is a song that takes attraction from "like" to "get to know each other better". It's a pure love song, which I feel is something missing in Soul/R&B music lately. For our generation it seems like every song is straight about sex. As a woman, we love being complimented and hearing sweet nothings in our ear. I feel like this song represents the comfort that takes the woman from thinking the guy is attractive to, "I think I like him".

INTERGALACTIC is my otherworldly funky tribute to the Beastie Boys and Adam "MCA" Yauch, who passed away on May 4 2012, and inspired by the Beastie Boys' song of the same name on the album Hello Nasty. The Beastie Boys' contribution to hip-hop is without a doubt intergalactic in proportion, and their out-of-the-norm sound and style has been and will continue to be a major influence in my work. R.I.P. MCA.

When did the hatred begin to spread?  Could it have been capitalism that made you leave my bed?  The morning after you were convinced your image of me was dead.  We used to be so close I never claimed I was the head.  Although your body rocks my mind every time, its all in the ways our minds combine.  Forgive me for the insults, youre divine!  I lost you in my feeble attempt to dim your shine.  My I redeem myself at your feet?  I miss you when you sleep, memories of my nightmares you wouldnt let me keep.  Now that youre gone my pain is deep.  Forgive me for not calling you the day after, my friends came over and in my immaturity I feared their laughter and ridicule.  Now look at you, you shrug at my touch.  I never meant to hurt you in such, such a way you would push me away.  Ladies Ill be the first to say this today.  You are not that image of a tarnished icon that floated about, blessing us with hope for the future.  You are indeed that glow that still helps us go on, you know?  I adore thee.  Your morals and emotionally free mentality astound me.  I emitted such a smog I wonder how you found me.  In pain one assumes the worst and I convinced my self you had a gun in your purse.

 Maybe it was the media feeding our hungry brains with images of greener grass that made us lose appreciation for what we had.  Did pop culture observe us from far like voltures, waiting for the event of our death to exploit the rise and fall of our symbioses?  They separated us in a time when we should be the closest.  Is this the grand scheme?  I use scheme for lack of a better word to describe this atrocity.  Articles in GQ and Cosmopolitan possibly, songs like Poison and Creep by BBD and TLC, obviously!  Player this, player that, not everything is fun and games.  Comparisons to dogs and cats when we know they dont get along, its a shame!  Dont believe everything your single friends tell you if they compell you to hate me.  Communication is the only immunity we have clearly.  They got us in the frame of mind to not settle.  This very word reminds us of tools, kids and kettles.  Am I right, or am I wrong?  If you feel me join in and sing this song.

I betrayed you and you betrayed me as well.  We all make dishonorable mistakes and still have stories to tell, untold.  Even if all the secrets unfold, all it takes is a vision of the road and promise is gained.  You and I are connected, two souls infected by the magic in our veins.  You and I are the same.  That Adam and Eve story is falsely assumed, he chose to and trusted his wife, as she trusted the serpent, that God trusted to be the only angel to walk the garden of Eden.  He blamed her for his curiosity when confronted by God and left her in the cold, freezing.  Im seeing you differently, no longer a mystery.  Our fate, if you will, lies in the trust that we had for each other then and now.  I dream of a global gender alliance, when and how?
