Tresor New Faces | Closing | 16.07.2025

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Björn Torwellen. "The Overstayer Protocol" comes off the new EP, Codebreaker, forthcoming on the legendary CLR. It follows January 2025’s ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker, Torwellen’s first foray onto the label, which won support from the likes of Luke Slater, Truncate, Dave Clarke, and more. Supercharged drums hammer and shake on the EP. The air hums with raw electric power, zapping through soft dub chords that tumble in the distance, oﬀering a glimpse of another world while its industrial groove rattles on. Today we premiere track 1 of the release.

Welcome to the 14th episode of the Gekiga Podcast. This week we’re stoked to host Martín Pistacchi aka NEEN.  

Hailing from Buenos Aires, this talented, young producer/DJ began his nightlife career organizing  local parties with friends. After some time behind the scenes, he began to delve into his true calling: production.

Within a few years, he not only mastered the technical aspects of production, but began outputting tracks that showed him to be an undeniable talent. The labels quickly came calling, and he now has a growing catalog on pedigree labels such as NEWRHYTHMIC, Semántica, 1997 Legend, and one of my favorite contemporary labels, the Italian based, EVOD. 

NEEN’s tracks have been played by the greatest DJ/Producer of all time: Oscar Mulero. He has shared the stage with masters like OISEL, and Translate, and this all happened within a matter of a few years. 

There’s no stopping or denying what NEEN brings to the table. I’m excited to forge a relationship with this amazing talent, and you will definitely see more collaborations between GEKIGA/GKG RECORDS and NEEN in 2026.

Hellix is a techno artist and vinyl enthusiast who has established himself as a driving force in Krakow's underground electronic music scene. Originally from eastern Poland, where his journey began with early trance influences and evolved into a deep commitment to techno.

Invited by Aetha and Diabot to co-create Feed, he contributes to cultivating Poland’s underground culture through carefully curated events and collaborative projects. A regular resident at Noce KRK, Hellix is respected for his vinyl-focused approach and meticulous technical skill. He is particularly known for pitch-riding the art of beatmatching using only the pitch fader while leaving the records untouched, which gives his sets a distinct precision and consistency grounded in the discipline of vinyl mixing.

Over the years he has shared the stage with an array of international and local talent, including Benales, Madalba, Mario Berger, Mary Yuzovskaya, Stranger, Border One, Hemka, The Lady Machine and many more. His practice is dedicated to creating meaningful musical experiences that connect techno’s foundational sounds to the scene’s contemporary pulse.

ZUZANAH invites: HELLIX

Jelena is a Zurich-based DJ/producer whose passion for electronic music is manifested in a style defined by hypnotic textures and driving grooves. In her productions, such as the most recent Bleep Me, Bleep Me Really Good EP released by Room Trax, she combines a wide range of influences – from deep, hypnotic rhythms to melodic flights of fancy and experimental electronic sounds. It comes as no surprise that the Swiss DJ, who has already had a residency at Basel's Club Elysia, gets on well musically with JakoJako, having previously played several back-to-back sets with her.

Our September 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an hour-long mix from our co-founder, DBOT.

DBOT is a Phoenix-based techno artist with deep roots in the Chicago nightclub scene.  Starting his music career in 2008, DBOT began his journey playing house music at some of the most-respected venues in Downtown Chicago.  After almost a decade of holding down residencies throughout the city, he developed an affinity for techno and the grittier, stripped-down productions that catered more to the underground.  As his sound evolved, he co-founded Nine Lives in 2017 as a means to book talent aligned with his newfound aspirations as an artist.  After relocating to Phoenix in 2020, DBOT established himself as a key figure on the Techno Snobs DJ roster, playing dozens of high-profile shows since his arrival to The Valley.  Invigorated by this latest chapter of his career, DBOT is currently focused on making new music and expanding the Nine Lives and Techno Snobs brands.
