Our January 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an hour-forty-minute, all-vinyl mix from PS11.

PS11 is the project of Matthew Antico, a NY-based DJ and producer whose introduction to electronic music began in the mid-90s while living in Los Angeles. After relocating to Queens, NY, in 1996, he adopted the alias DJ ELEVEN and immersed himself in the NYC underground techno scene, honing his skills as a DJ by spinning fast-paced, percussive techno at underground parties and weekly residencies.

After a long hiatus from DJing, Matt adopted the name PS11 in 2018 and became deeply focused on music production, mastering the intricacies and technical aspects of electronic music creation. Embracing a “less is more” approach, his sound—heavily influenced by his past—is raw, often combining repetitive percussive elements and evolving synths while maintaining a strong focus on the dance floor with heavy, bass-driven rhythms.

In October 2022, PS11 landed his first release on Mastoid Kollektive’s PINK 2 various artists compilation, followed by EP and VA releases on Chicago Jaxxx, E-HRZN Records, EvilGroove, ASS3, BCCO, Duplicity, Splatter, and Life In Patterns.

Bio:
Back in the early 1990s Duniz first discovered his love of electronic music.

Then, in the early 2000s, he released on the labels of Anthony Rother, Zombie Nation and the Stammheim legend Pierre.

After many more gigs and working in a club, he decided it was time to focus on his family and took some time off.

Now, as a solo artist, Duniz is focusing all his energy on his love of raw, hypnotic techno.
Together with Nadine Fehn and Marcel Huldt, he runs the Klangtrauma label.
In January 2025, he founded his new label Equal.

Techno is an ode — woven from the vibration of electrons, etched into time through the trembling of the body.
I carry the ache of the soul through phantasmic, hypnotic pulses.
Shaped by whispers from the realm of Ideas, the mysteries of the inner oceanic abyss, and the journey of self-reconstruction through them.
