Third track from the upcoming compilation Smokers Lounge that's being released on our catalog - released today with the great producer Oh, My. A journey as always listening to his productions and this one is no exception. The Comet Chase will be a part of our upcoming album that's focusing on freedom while producing and not having any requirements in terms of where the sound should go - just artists with full expression of what they are feeling & inspired by.

Born and raised in the deep forest of Sweden Oh, my. came in contact with his creative side at a young age. Not always focusing on his music but also photography and writing helps him to draw inspiration from different places to express his art in the most honest way. The texture and atmosphere of his music is where he puts most of his focus and its more about capturing a feeling than anything else.

Fourth single from our upcoming Smokers Lounge compilation and today we’re seeing the iconic Hubert Daviz sharing his contribution titled beyond the veil. The task of describing his music and style even when planning way ahead is always a difficult thing since his sound age like fine wine and the small details he’s adding will have an impact in future upcoming releases.

I am very honored to be able to showcase his music like this and also that he’s a part of the upcoming album. beyond the veil is full of nostalgic vibrance and a bit of uptempo smoothness blended together as a perfect glimpse of what we’re about to release together very soon.

So, it's been around a year since we had the single 'Twenty Five Joints' and that's the first preview of this great journey. When i spoke with him in mid 2019 he told me his process about making beats. Since his time is very limited during the days he spends in Los Angeles he's managed to come up very unique ways of getting his workflow to align with other stuff. The SP-404 is carried around to a lot of different places, there's spots all around the city for him to create music & get inspiration from.

When you're listening to his beats, there's a lot of different moods you can feel, he will bring you both happy & melancholic vibes in a matter of seconds.

The album 'Waahiid's Deli' has been made with full focus, there's a new chapter coming along from the great producer and i would say this one you're hearing is the first episode. I don't wanna throw shade at the previous releases but when i've been speaking with Waahiid he says this is the start of something else, and he's feeling very inspired to see where his sound can take him.

I had a long discussion yesterday about different moods, and one thing he said, is that a lot of people doesn't know the atmosphere there. It always isn't that hollywood type of life - it can be real gritty and dirty. When he said this, i could actually apply this type of vision to the album.

The store is open, welcome to Waahiid's Deli. Perfectly cut samples and funky drums! My favorite track at the moment is 'Bagel Dropped' but this is changing on a daily basis - there's so many gems!
