Molecular Recordings, which was founded in 1994, has recently experienced a renaissance with a string of exceptional releases, launching a new chapter in their history that has featured artists like DJ Bone and Chris Liebing.

Linear System is a Costa Rica-based techno artist closely affiliated with Edit Select Records, which has released four of his five studio albums along with several EPs. His discography also includes respected labels like Symbolism, MATERIA, Dynamic Reflection, Illegal Alien, Molecular, BCCO, Blank Code, and his own imprint Modern Minimal, launched in 2022.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Hyacinthus” with a haunting atmosphere and pulsing rhythm. Space in the cavernous groove is the key here with the vocal chant of "breathe" reaffirming the intention of a heads down, raw and stripped back thunderbolt.
