“Silky” is the second single to be taken from this summer’s critically acclaimed Electric Rescue album - “Sonic Architecture” (BEDER01CD). As one of the album’s superb highlight tracks, “Silky” is a perfect example of how Electric Rescue embodies French electronic music’s avant-garde sensibility, combining it with a melodic techno worldview that crosses all borders. This release also features an exciting, brand-new, not on the album, harder-edged techno production - “Non-Exchangeable” - that has also been remixed into a magnificent creative opus by Italian “enfant prodige” Dusty Kid (aka Paolo Alberto Lodde).
Electric Rescue (aka Antoine Husson) is one France’s leading electronic music producer/DJ talents. His Bedrock album - “Sonic Architecture” - is a 12 track collection that showcases his ability moving deftly between the kind of taut, melodic techno; heads-down, harder-edged dancefloor rhythms; and experimental electronica he’s brought to prominence on Gallic soil. A confident, flowing artist album, it’s the type of release that can only stem from years of experience and near constant immersion within electronic music culture. First discovered by Laurent Garnier, the roll-call of labels Electric Rescue has released music on reads like a who’s who of leading and legendary imprints, from Bedrock to Soma, F Communications to Harthouse, Sci + Tec, Cocoon, Traum, Boyznoize Records and beyond. 
As a DJ, his residency at the legendary Rex Club in Paris cemented his reputation on home turf, later gaining notoriety by organizing Paris’ infamous “Play” parties. Further afield, he’s played every major club worth referencing, including Berghain, Panorama Bar, Club Tresor, Air Club, Moog (Barcelona), The Edge, Picnik, Herr Zimmerman, Decadence, East Village Club and many more.

Magical Mistakes releases upcoming LP “Peaking in the Pitch Black” via The Playground Records on the 1st July. Magical Mistakes has already garnered support from the likes of Vice/ Noisey, FACT Mag, CLASH, XLR8R, Earmilk, The Line of Best Fit, BBC and many more. Currently based in Osaka, Japan, Erik runs the small events and boutique label Perfect Touch, working with labels and artists (Leaving Records, Shigeto, Yosi Horikawa, Obey City etc.) on tours and cross cultural creative projects. “Peaking in the Pitch Black” is the first single to be lifted from the LP which will be released on the 20th May. 

Following the path of other artists, like Bon Iver, Magical Mistakes, (a.k.a Erik Luebs) moved to Shiba-san, one of Japan’s most rural villages, to create his sound. Here he was able to draw inspiration from his environment and also from the lineage of contemplative beats crafted by the vibrant community of Osaka artists, such as Shlohmo and Mount Kimbie. It’s clear when listening to Magical Mistakes that his style strives to combine Eastern and Western influences. His tracks are textural, bell-bathed, slow slung electronic compositions blended with organic instrumentation, Japanese motifs, and ambient sounds, that create an immersive underwater effect.

Life & Limb is the collaboration between Andrea Mangia of Lecce, Italy and Mike McGuire of New York. In 2006 the two discovered each other’s solo recordings online under the names Populous and Short Stories respectively. Shortly thereafter came their first release, the single “Breathes the Best”, released in 2006 on Morr Music, followed by the full-length ‘Drawn In Basic’. 

After a sabbatical working on other projects the two came back together in 2011 with new material. The influences were still broad, ranging from Flying Lotus and Broadcast to Will Oldham. However the pair felt the new recordings were more cohesive and diverged from their past work. Accordingly, a new name seemed necessary. Life & Limb was born. Enclaves released this new self-titled album in November 2012 to much acclaim, with Gold Flake Paint describing the album as “a delicious slice of dreamscape that will enable any listener to instantly fall in love; laid back summer vibes intermingle with hazy synths and syrupy vocals, creating something purely escapist”. 

Now just six months later the band release the ‘Fool’s Nest’ EP which features a brand new song, the title track, and a host of remixes. Again accompanied by another stunning video, ‘Fool’s Nest’ both highlights the duo’s pop nous and their music’s deceptive emotional depth. Supporting the release with a number of DJ sets throughout the spring and summer, Life & Limb will tour in Fall 2013.
