The Elektricheskaya Sobaka band members have compiled recordings from their live performances. A year ago, the musicians deliberately refused to rehearse together, so all their interaction takes place during live sets. It was documented in the mix – electroacoustic swirls, crumbling and sinking rhythms, tickling the ears with electronic sound.

One could state that her style is rooted in gritty strains of EBM and techno, but you can hear a great influence of punk, acid, and other genres that reflects a punk attitude. The power of accentuated and multi-layered character is felt across her releases – on United Identities, Fides Records, Marguerite Records and Brokntoys labels, to name a few – either it is a downtempo chugger or electro stomper. Mayo’s DT200 mix is an example of entrancing storytelling speaking to different influences, leading you from a slow prelude to a sweaty ending.

Good friends from Décalé. Records are back with another awesome reissue, this time with "Le Disque De l'Art Gué", a 10-track compilation, highlighting the avant-garde and dreamlike work of Swiss Artist Fizzè. In between medieval ballad, acoustic industrial and psychedelic world music, the reissue includes original tracks from "Kulu Hatha Mamnua" and "Manoeuvres d'Automne" albums released in 1987, along with unreleased materials and remixes by Fizzè.

"These eight compositions pull in a by-catch of maritime folklore; of Siren and Selkie, Seagull and engine oil slick". This is how we got introduced to the new album of Wilson Tanner. 

Wilson Tanner is the mutual project of Australian artists Andras (Andrew Wilson) and Eleventeen Eston (John Tanner). Here they release "II", a follow up to their debut full-length published in 2016. 

Through the 8 tracks, Andrew and John captured Ambient and Electronica landscapes, all recorded in 3 days, on September 2017, aboard a 1950s riverboat with weatherproof instruments. 

While listening to the LP, we instantly felt in love with the whole aesthetic and the peaceful feeling that spead throughout the tracks. "All Hands Bury the Dead" is our pickup from the release with its early 70s / late 60s electronic sound that brings back a lot of music and visual memories.

»KAMILHAN; il y a péril en la demeure« is the conclusion of a 5-part cycle of works by artist Grischa Lichtenberger which was initiated with the album »LA DEMEURE; il y a péril en la demeure« in 2015 and continued with the triple EP release »Spielraum, Allgegenwart, Strahlung« in 2016.
In addition to the concept of „demeure“, ones residence as a symbol for the joy and artistic possibilities one can find in isolation, Lichtenberger places a further emphasis on the expression of the voice, represented by the word „Kamilhan“. „Kamilhan“ is a non-existent word, an expression that Ernst Bloch once mentioned in an anecdote about his childhood. Fascinated by its sound but without knowing its meaning, it remained vivid in his memory in its purely „material“ form.
Lichtenberger also refers to this childish perception of language. Words that we do not know, but repeat in our thoughts until they become insignificant. Lyrics in a foreign language that we do not understand and still sing along and imitate. With computer-generated voices, Lichtenberger tries to reproduce these experiences. In his tracks we hear syllables and phrases that are similar to words and that seem familiar to us, but whose meaning remains a secret.
As on the previous album, the tracks on »KAMILHAN« are constantly torn apart and reassembled. Borrowings from hip-hop and even pop are unmistakable, desired, and yet delusive. Rhythms that are repeatedly broken in order to re-organize themselves into new temporal patterns. Melodies that are pierced by precisely these intricate rhythms. Voices that lack any empathy due to their artificiality.
Lichtenberger himself describes these tracks as „crooked ballads“, which, by deliberately following classic pop song structures, try to sell us the absurd as the normal, and in turn smuggle some hope of recognition into the absurd.
