ਕਲਜੁਗਮਹਿਕੀਰਤਨੁਪਰਧਾਨਾ॥
kalajug meh keeratan paradhaanaa ||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਜੁਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਭੀ) ਕਲਜੁਗ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਹੀ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਕਰਮ ਹੈ ।
In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises are most sublime and exalted.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਜਪੀਐਲਾਇਧਿਆਨਾ॥
guramukh japeeaai lai dhiaanaa ||
(ਉਂਞ ਤਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।

ਆਪਿਤਰੈਸਗਲੇਕੁਲਤਾਰੇਹਰਿਦਰਗਹਪਤਿਸਿਉਜਾਇਦਾ॥੬॥
aap tarai sagale kul taare har dharageh pat siau jaidhaa ||6||
(ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਆਪ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੁਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੬।
You shall save yourself, and save all your generations as well. You shall go to the Court of the Lord with honor. ||6||
